Personally, I think we were a wee bit unlucky yesterday and deserved something from the game. Of course, we can't really talk about luck post Waraw. I've also just watched highlights of Cardiff hammering Wolves for 90 minutes then conceding a deflected goal in the last minute.

This brought up the question, what is the unluckiest defeat you have seen Celtic suffer?

I'll begin with the obvious one and say the UEFA Cup final.

Losing in the San Siro against Milan last season. We were eye better side & at 0-0 I would he been disappointed with 1 point. Lennon obviously felt the same and brung on Derk & Pukki. In hindsight, 0-0 would have been a good result

A few games under Martin O'Neill in CL instantly spring to mind - the Bayern game where we lost 2-1 but deserved something from the game and the 3-1 defeat to AC Milan in 2004. Only looked like being one winner in that game, us, and then we were hit with two sucker punches as they scored 2 in the last 2 minutes.

We should have beaten Milan at the San Siro in the last 16 under Strachan. If I remember right we missed 2 good chances in the last 10 minutes of normal time, Gravesen being one.

It's kind of hard to call it unlucky when we were out shot 13-2 and possession was 73%-27%.

We were getting more chances in the san siro last year than we would on an average league away day, felt * sick after that match.

When Juventus beat us 3-2 in Turin. Our first CL game, I think?

Only looked like one winner after we equalised, and then up pops Amorouso. Remember O'Neil giving his interview after the game and he was still seething. Never seen him like that.

To be honest I don't think I can describe any group stage game under Strachan or Lenny as unlucky. Obviously there was Strachan's last 16 game against Milan, but that's it. MON got a lot of bad luck in a few games, though.

I honestly think we could have went on to win the tournament if we'd sneaked through in the San Siro in 2007. Now before you laugh...

Milan went on to play an average Bayern Munich team in the quarter final. Rensing, Van Buyten, Salihamidzic, Otto and Lell were the kind of names starting games for them back then. 10 months later they drew with Aberdeen. Winnable.

They then played Man Utd in the last 4 who we'd already beaten at Celtic Park months previously. Definitely a winnable tie.

They won the tournament by beating an average Liverpool side containing Jermaine Pennant.

Away in the San Siro for the last 16 against Milan is the unluckiest I've seen, that was desperately unlucky.

Benfica (the one where they scored in the 87th minute)? Villarreal?
