    I love a good action movie that has a story,Oldboy for instance was class,with a few cracking ultra violent scenes in it.

    But recently I watched THE RAID 2,again another cracking movie IMO.

    So not to give anything away,I will set the scene.

    A young woman,not yet 20,up against 10-12 knife wielding thugs,confined in the space of a underground train carriage armed with 2 claw hammers.

    Unfucking believably violent and utterly brilliant.

    very original,anyone got a favourite scene,similar

    The rape scene that seems to last forever in Irreversible.

    The second half of the film Martyrs which is basically a woman being beaten senseless repeatedly.

    Can't remember the name but there's some film where a woman tortures a girl by using a blowtorch on her genitalia
