Smash and grab from England. Best team in the world again and everyone likes Sterling for the next 48 hours.

Anyone know what channel the France Germany game is actually on?
Everywhere keeps saying sky have it, on sky sports mix.

But I don't * see it, channel doesn't exist. Nor can I find it on a red button.

That Dutch goal could relegate Germany. You have to feel sorry for the group B teams that end up in their group in 2 years as I doubt they'll be pish for long.

Distincy possibility that Scotland could end up in same group as Germany as Germany have definitely been relegated.

It's definitely a possibility but statistically I would say unlikely. Scotland are even money to win their group ( which I personally think is a little short) so that means there is a 50% chance of them going up to group B. Then assuming Germany would be seeded there is only a 1/4 or 25% chance of them been drawn in Germany's group. So the chances of them ending up in Germany's group are only about 12.5% and personally I think it is closer to 11% or a 1 in 9 chance.

The competition is every two years yes? And the winners get qualification places at the following European Championships ?. What happens in two years when the world cup is approaching, do the winners get places at the world cup ?

Have to say watching Ireland makes your eyes bleed.

I love MO, but they are the absolute pits and bore the * out of you.

Mind you with no Celts around I don't really bother my * much with them anyway.

Didn't look at many of the other games but 8/13 for both teams not to score was the banker bet.

What I have seen of Ireland recently. O'Neill plays to not lose rather than win. Dire football to watch.

In the 2018-19 one the winners of the 4 A groups enter a 4 man tournament this summer. The same as 2020-21, it makes sure there is a tournament every year.
For the leagues before the euros there is 4 additional 4 team play offs made of respective group winners. In said group winners either host(no host 2020) the tournament or qualify via normal route they are replaced by the next highest ranking team, I imagine the group a and b play offs will be changed significantly, will replace them.
It doesn't act as qualifying for the world cup

For Ireland and home nations here is what happens from European Nations League.

England won group - No possible promotion- Stay in League A- Qualified for Nations League Finals
Rep of Ireland - Relegated to League C - Cant qualify for Euro 2020 through Nations League at moment.
N Ireland - Relegated to League C - Cant qualify for Euro 2020 through Nations League at moment.
Wales - Stay in League B =Cant qualify for Euro 2020 through Nations League at moment.
Scotland - Must win to win Group to enter Play Offs and also win promotion to League B - If draw or lose then stay in League C. Cant be relegated to League D
