Bt they are treating it like a bit of * on their shoe though .the three comps right should be put out to tender separately rather than altogether bt only interested in the champions league

I'm curious how important teams from bigger leagues will approach the tournament. Will they just see it as a hinderence, especially teams who have dropped from Europa league

I definitely think the likes of Spurs, Leicester, Napoli and perhaps Marseille would see their own domestic leagues as being more important and wold not risk their top players to injury etc however, I think those teams from the "smaller" footballing nations always take any type of European competition seriously.

Spurs game no being played. Going to UEFA disciplinary board to make a decision. There is surely no way they can just put them through so I think they will be out. Quite fancied getting them too.

If they get given a draw I imagine Vitesse will complain.
I imagine it will heavily come down to how well those clubs are doing come February. I don't see Leicester getting into Europe via the league so they could go for it. Roma look unlikely to get top 4 at the moment but if they start closing in then they could basically forfeit this tournament. Feyenoord, PSV, Fenerbache and a few others may prioritise their league. There is quite a few teams who are CL qualifiers regulars and they may not care depending on their current league standing. I hope it doesn't go that way but I can see us doing it too.

There's a part of me wanting us to play our strongest team in this competition as it gives us all a buzz and, who knows, a good chance to actually win it however, I would dread to think that we could pick up serious injuries along the way which would hinder our main goal this season, and that's to win back the league. Hopefully we will get some new guys in come January to help boost our squad to allow us to compete strongly in all competitions

Heard this would actually be a bad draw, long travelling to the arctic amd theyve been impressive including a demolition of Roma. Only upside there sesson will have finished so not a lot of game time.

It was a second string Roma side that couldn’t string a pass together. They looked a decent wee team but they aren’t better than Roma, and shouldn’t be better than us. Would be shocked if we were to go out to them.

Just looked up their league there and this mob are sitting top so they must be pretty good in a league that includes the likes of Rosenburg and Molde etc. so they will pose us problems

Ive never seen a team go into a game looking less happy to be there as when Roma played Bodo away, I follow ASR on the side-ish and as soon as the draw was made it was like a death sentence has been passed. Gianluca Mancini was caught on camera when they were visiting the ground saying it was a punishment for having a poor finish to last season. Bodo would have been looking forward to it since the draw, its a * of an away day to play in the arctic circle in the middle of winter. For all Roma are fairly ordinary squad-wise, racked with injury problems and not really found a "personality" yet I dont think they would approach any other game the same way. Saying that, wouldn't write off Bodo even if they wont have played much football by the time we play them.

I wonder what their weather will be like by the time we play them i.e. will it still be baltic and will it still be the long days and nights of darkness?
