Just feel if there’s no away goals rule what’s the point in home and away ties ?

I’ve always felt one of ties are better because they cause more upsets.

Don’t know what they’d do for qualifiers but the best CL in recent years has been last year with the one off games in the knockouts which basically felt like a Euro’s/World Cup.

 

Yeah i enjoyed that also and as you say theres more chance of clubs like us causing an upset

 

Surely the main reason for home and away continues - ie, neither team disadvantaged by not getting a home match.

What it definitely will mean is more games going to ET and penalties as will be easier to draw on aggregate.

 

From an entertainment perspective I would like one off ties and no seeding, but UEFA would never do it for obvious reasons

 

How is there no point? It means equal for both teams.
In recent years teams that got a draw away have just sat and defended their home game. The away goals rule in extra time was * stupid too, although I think extra time unless played at a neutral venue is stupid.

 

2 weeks and still not really any first team signings…

If all seeded teams get to play offs we will be unseeded in play offs and will play either Shakhtar Donetsk or Benfica.

If huns get to same point they would be unseeded and drawn against a choice of

I think they could have it as a mini tourney before season start all qualifiers play in a knock out tournament to get into group stages with CL and EL places being played for

 

Played in a neutral country all games over a two week period

 

Priority for us should by getting past midjtyland so we have EL. Anything after that is a free hit.

Huns can get Slavia Prague I think, not Sparta. Unless they've sold players they should be capable of beating them again, I would fancy Salzburg as well. Not sure about Olympiakos or Zagreb.

 

How is midjtyland looking? Last i heard was they was selling a few top players and a the manager was for the off after doing a qaulity job. Hopefully turmoil for them...
