C'mon I did agree he's a better athlete, but saying in your original post Ronaldo scores more goals by beating defenders with skill is still IMO utter *,at times people would struggle to get the ball off Messi in a phone box,but maybe I should be banned for that point of view

"When we have the ball, we have to attack. That's how I love to play football." Jose Mourinho.

Big game feel kicking in at the Bridge, the flags flying and a stadium display.

Come on Madrid, expecting a drab game which will suit Chelsea, if madrid can get an early goal then chelsea have to come out as they need two goals.

A back Messi every time. Ronaldo is the better all round player of the two, but Messi is a far far more superior dribbler.

Who says it's Ronaldo that's the natural of the two?:56: Can't be arsed reading back the thread. A think its clear as day Messi is the more natural of the two.

Let's get a positive energy going here. Chelsea will not win. Atletico will go through.

    * will not allow Chelsea to win. Tonight will be a victory for football.

    Positivity.

as much as I want an Atletico win tonight I honestly can't see it happening, they aren't really good on the counter in a way which they'd need to be to ever catch Chelsea off guard. I reckon Chelsea will go through and then Real will beat them 2-0 in the final.

I'm not the only one who believes he is better. His fellow professionals seem to think so as well seeing as he picked up the Ballon D'or.

I'm not surprised people still claim Messi is better with the pathetic Barca love in on here.

Nothing to do with better, you said Ronaldo was more naturally gifted than Messi which is absurd in mine and the opinions of many.

I'd still disagree with Ronaldo being the better of the two as well, but at least that's more comparable. (also I prefer Real Madrid to Barcelona)

You really are the first person I have ever heard saying Ronaldo is more naturally gifted. Seriously no joke! He's had to work so hard to get where he is, where way Messi, the skills the way he plays tricks dribbling what ever it's just so naturally, like second nature to him.

Well it's a bit hard to pick a guy who was out for 6 months:smiley-laughing002: So Ronaldo is the next best option. Or Ribery. But was easily Ronaldo for me over him.

Did the voting not get re-opened for the Ballon D'or as well, after Portugal beat Sweden, and funnily enough, Ronaldo had a great game.

I hope Atletico will go through. I hate Chelsea, I hate Real Madrid ( but I like Ronaldo and appreciate him very much:icon_mrgreen:).
Still, I know Mourinho and his team will somehow reach the final and that will be one of those game when you ant both teams to lose.
I'd be glad for Ronaldo to win the Cl if Chelsea will be their opponent in the final, but on the other hand, I'd like Ivanović to win this.
