few more hamstring injuries - hopefully a solid win at home and can rest a few or play at least a half.
looking at europa league draw - this is our level at the minute and a chance of a european run and build some good away european form

 

Nothing to be offended about but I'm getting sick of team's wanting/calling us a good draw, or looking about and lapping up our atmosphere..

I want team's scared to come here and the crowd to get to them..

They travel to La Manga and play Swedish and Russian teams during their winter break in Jan/Feb. They won't be as fit as teams in mid-season, but I think they will be good enough to give us a fair fight, especially when we go to play them at their * plastic pitch.

 

It's been a while since we had a fortress, probably need to go back to MoN

 

Not really compared to us.

Cause they play so few games a season and get a long break, they usually have long "pre-seasons" where they play friendlies for a couple of months before their season usually about 7-10.

They have 10 weeks before they play us, 5 weeks off and then 5 weeks of training and playing 4-5 friendlies.

If anything they will be fresh and very well planned.

When we play teams like them in July, we do it after usually a short rushed break and hardly a friendly played. Their pre-season is actually a perfect set up and what every team would want, long breaks and slowly getting back well relaxed.

Theyre not gonna be milling about lapland, sitting on Santas knee and eating * cabbage and mutton and necking down glogg for 2 months.

Theyll be well rested, well trained, with a host of competitive friendlies under their belt and more than a few months to analyse us whilst we go about our domestic business.

As i said, draw could have been worse, but it definitely could have been better.

 

Decent draw that... I presume we have never played these before..

I'll see how we are in the league and treat this accordingly.. league still #1 priority but decent draw..

Tough draw, they pumped Roma rotten! Mourinho's teams are unpredictable over the past few years though, I wouldn't say Bodo are better than Betis...

Was thinking that, back then everyone would of feared Celtic no doubt

 

Think they meant good draw in all ways.
Good team. Great stadium. Great supporters.
And why should they fear anyone? Topped their group and pumped roma. Freak result or not that is a great result in probably best in tjeor history.
