Anyone else thought the Sky interview with Lenny at the end was weird?

Thought it really odd the way Lenny chose to thank Sky a couple of times, what was that for?

The tone of the interview seemed out of character also.

Aye thought it was quite weird too however Lenny was probably just disappointed that it'll be his last interaction with decent quality pundits for a while and instead will have to put up with the diddies who usually do Scottish games and the Scottish press who are fannies until next season - guys like Burley, Tanner, McCann, Walker, and the wee * who interviews guys for ESPN, they are all * nonsence compared to Neville, Redknapp, Stelling and even Ray Wilkins.

The thing is, our away fans are always amazing, even domestically. Many's the time I've been watching games on telly at places like Tannadice and all you can hear is our fans singing. Now if only there were some way to get all of our away fans sitting together in two spots at either end of CP. The atmosphere at CP for domestic games would improve dramatically.

Oh wait. There is a way. It's called safe standing (hopefully with a 3rd, smaller standing section for the GB to continue to do their great stuff).

When you watch CL games or OF games (the only time there's a great atmosphere at CP) you can see that large sections of the JS and LL spend the whole game standing anyway (something I love to see).

Yep, the GB are probably the only fans in the world who get less hassle entering a stadium in Italy for a big European game than they get in their own stadium for a run-of-the-mill league game. :54:

Just spotted myself in the last video there. Great atmosphere at the game, must be the longest 10 in a row in history! The Italian police and stewards are absolute scumbags however. Standing in the torrential rain for well over an hour before kick off, got in just in time to see Juve score the 1st. There was a guy collapsed outside the stadium and he had to be crowdsurfed to the front. Only after that did they open the gate and let us through. Then we had to wait at another turnstile where thay had one open! It took a wee while before they abandoned that idea and opened up a second gate, and only then were we in the stadium itself. It was a disgrace. It was almost as if they wanted someone to cause bother!

I wonder if we could win the UEFA Fair Play Award again this season? the fans have been sensational home and away, probably took 30,000+ fans abroad this season without incident which is probably the most in Europe.

"The day after the big game against Celtic, who reported the Bianconeri in the European G8 after seven years, the images that have captured the attention of journalists and observers of technique and tactics, were those relating to the quality of play expressed Juventus and many other similar aspects of which today's newspapers are full. That which should not be overlooked, regarding the image that Scottish football yesterday wonderfully represented by Celtic fans, showed the audience of Turin and Italy. In a few days we have gone from the scene and almost shameful incommentabili the game of Naples to those of the past, which dominated the joy, celebration and sportsmanship that football would need so much. It 'hard to explain in words.
The day started early for Celtic fans: in the early hours of the morning, many were those already present in the city. The "late", so to speak, they would arrive a few hours later, many by train from Milan. It is in train the football festival started because there were too many Juventus between the two sides and the weather was nothing short of serene: we took pictures, we sang, we hugged and we were talking about football. There was no hatred or poisons, even in the streets of the city a few hours before the game. There was (so that) a lot of beer, whom he later helped to keep cheerful and lively Scottish supporters until the end of the match, when the result was final and goals to digest were a total of five. Try just imagine the scene with the roles reversed.
There were Bhoys (this is the name of the Celtic fans) in almost all areas of the stadium, fans mingled with the Old Lady. There were Scottish eagle with scarves around his neck and Juventus with green and white scarves. There were many, but their many guests shirtless bravely singing loudly choirs for their players, until the ninetieth and beyond. There were those who at the end of the game could hardly stand on his feet but pulled back when he was asked for a souvenir photo or a handshake, even in the rain.
If the trip to Glasgow opened his eyes in unknown ways of living football - light years away from those who comment on every Sunday in Italy - yesterday evening was a wonderful poster of a kick to which we all aspire, but that even we dream to experience or promote with the facts. In a few days you will return to the controversy, but who was there yesterday will not forget anytime soon scenes of typhus (the real one) and the laughter that Celtic fans have given us. What a lesson, how far we are from that. See you Bhoys, it was a pleasure!"

    I thought that too.

Couldnt believe how we were being treated. They were treating us like animals.

Not surprised someone collapsed im in my twenties and was struggling to handle that and the crushing. Do you know if the guy was okay???
