It was soulless performance, but to be honest the result didnt surprise me even if the performance did. However, it has set up the next game as a death or glory game at CP.
I dont see Ajax picking up another point myself, so a draw is a minimum.

How does the table work with regards goals scored/difference etc in the event of points tied head to head identical?

Your only posts on here, besides the ones disparaging my club, are about Celtic signing Christian Eriksen.

    That's a joke, obviously.

A draw is no good. Because Ajax are beating us with an away goal on the head to head. Unless we can pick up another draw at the Nou Camp.

But realistically, we must beat Milan at home.

So much misinformation in these newspapers!!!! apparently from todays SCUM soz sun.....
no mention of the 2-1 home win v Ajax in the last match!

Celtic have had the least possession of any of the 32 teams in the Champions League group stage and, if they fail to score in Barcelona next month, it will be the first time they have failed to find the net in five consecutive European ties.

Our bff's Barcelona, Messi in particular has said they are not going to go easy on Ajax. Wish they would get a room.

Away games I'm guessing? Ajax, Milan, Karagandy, Elfsborg

    Quite depressing actually

Just says five consecutive European ties. Which is bollocks.

One thing that surprises me is the goal....that's the sort of goal you'd associate with Barça, which we've obviously been capable of defending with ease....I think that VVD and Ambrose got to tight to the Ajax players.....I'm not saying its they're fault but due to the high standard they've been playing at its a surprising one

They probably thought Mulgrew wasn't going to bottle the tackle in the middle of the park and weren't prepared for the attack.

He does have a bad habit of bottling or going in timid into challenges in the middle of the park, something I've noticed a few times..

I didn't think he bottled a tackle, i thought he tried to chip it over the defenders foot?

I'll have to watch it back again but it looked like a half lazy half bottle tackle..

That's how I saw it aswell but I was fuming so could have been an over reaction.

Anyway, either way it was a * poor tackle that led to their goal.

    I'm not picky.
Sorry but that's just rubbish. Forrest was one of the better players in the second half. There were plenty of times he got beyond their backline, and even when he cut inside he had a few chances. He was guff in the first half because he never got any service. Who knows what could have happened if he received the service in the first half that he got in the second.

You clearly haven't read any of my posts previously regarding Forrest. I agreed that out of our attacking players, he was our best. Not exactly hard however. I'm failing to see where my post is rubbish. He touched the ball about 5 times the whole of the first half. Nobody in there right mind can argue with that. So for one reason or another, he couldn't get himself involved in the game.

The one opportunity he did get first half, Van Dijk sprayed a great ball out to him, he shifted it and then put a cross into the keepers hands. Yes, he got involved a bit more second half, but he was lucky to still be on the park. A lot of managers would have subbed him at half time. Our biggest chance of the night, both he and Stokes made a complete * of it. Even though Stokes should have got himself onside quicker than he did, Forrest should still be able to pick him out in my opinion.

Not of our attacking players did enough, it's as simple as that. We were shocking in an attacking sense.

Thought Balde would have started this one.

Edit - Ment to post this in the Ross County topic.
