    Anyone heard the new U2 single?

    If you have....what's your opinion on it?

    I'm a big U2 fan but I'm really not too sure about this track....maybe I just need to listen to it more :97:

    start of it is pretty good..like the riff but no that mad on it.Huge fan but not the same impact as Vertigo had.And anyone notice that one of the songs on the new album is called Cedars of Lebanon!:56:ffs bono!

    My brother said it reminded him of Vertigo, similar kind of song but I don't see it.

    I'm hoping the rest of the album is better:50:

    It sounds like Pump it Up by Elvis Costello, you can even sing the Pump it up lyrics over it.
    I reckon it also sounds like something Primal Scream did about 10 years ago too, cant think of the track title tho.

    I like U2 very much. And I like the sound of the new single. Hopefully I'll get to see them this summer.

    I met Bono, briefly, after the gig at Hampden on the Vertigo tour.

    I missed the Elevation Tour unfortunately...was at Celtic Park for Zoo TV....I had to be carried out after getting crushed....could hardly breathe, had sore ribs for weeks but it was worth it :icon_mrgreen:
