Got exactly the same one the other day, had a number of them over the years.

Not that you should ever let them in but surely they wouldn't be allowed in due to current restrictions the now anyway?

Aye exactly. Jokers man. Even the “3rd December or...eh...any other day” cracked me up. Will I * be paying that or even entertaining them if they decide to turn up.

Told the story on here before about the wee jumped up * they sent to my door before. Flashed his badge and practically tried to walk in my front door, * was half my size and basically bounced off me back out the way :giggle1: chased them to *.

Few nights later about 7 o’clock they sent 2 big burly * to the door and I sent her to the door thinking it was the CID :56:

I once had one come to door after I had moved house. I paid it religiously over the years and I kept them in a wee zip folder going back 20 years. I misplaced the folder when we moved and really gave no thought to it until this guy showed up at the door. I says quite confidently hang on I need to go up and look through my files because I do have it. He's like I hope you're not wasting my time cause everybody says this! I was raging and 5 minutes later I comes down with the folder. You should have seen him backtracking because he had been rude!

Now I am like the rest of us rebellious Scots I refused to pay for BBC bias now. We have the highest number of non compliance in Scotland compared to the rest of the UK and I'm so proud to be one of that number.

I come from a family of cowards, so my wife pays it religiously every year.

    Stopped paying it last year.
Got several letters with the last one being rather threatening
Just went online and said I wont be paying it due to such and such.
They have put it on hold for 3 years or so.

    But they can * off.
My wife was moaning at me coz her aunt got fined plus expenses. Ended up paying about 4k.

Without getting political, I don't mind paying for the TV licence - I watch quite a lot of the doc's and some other stuff so I can justify the cost.

It really should be a subscription service by now.
    No reason it can't be.

Apart from auld lizzie on at Christmas, moaning about how her life is *, her family are all inbred * and how nobody gives a * about her * wee problems.
Plus, one of her sons is a nonce, one of her grandchildren has disowned her and her husband killed her daughter in law.

The fact they even say stuff like they're putting it on hold shows how big a pile of pish it is. Imagine giving another subscription service reasons why you wouldn't be paying and them saying they'll just put it on hold for 3 year.

They're relying on folk to be scared by the threatening letters they send out. The biggest mistake to make with any of their letters is replying with any of your details.
