Indeed. Kevin Moran was a much under-rated player and for me, Paul McGrath is the best Irish player of all time...

I’m exactly the same with Taxi and Soap. Brings me back to late 70s early 80s. Actually been known to go to YouTube and play the themes.

Taxi and soap were just brilliant, nobody else seemed to watch it here but I screamed with laughter...

Might be just a bit older but here are another few that just send me back, to genuinely, happy innocent times...

Love the Banana Splits. Soap is up there with my favourite TV programmes ever and even better when your stoned. It broke every rule going and no subject was taboo. Think Billy Crystal playing Jody was the first openly gay person portrayed on TV. All done on a stage and the ad libbing was well ahead of its time. Most comedy soaps after used it as a blue print and ironic that it was a parody of a Soap Opera.

Your right it was shocking for its time, but the cast were brilliant. Do you remember wkrp in Cincinnati as well ? that could be good as well. Going back to taxi some of the things Jim would come out with creased me. Maybe forty years ago they were more open ,honest, realistic ,whatever....But it was funny, and the few at school who had seen it always had a quote the next day. Remember Jim’s sister ? saying about all the air fix type models he had but always seemed to run out of glue to make them for some reason lol. We had the two ronnies and benny hill at the time ffs...:50:

Was listening the other day on the way up from Manchester and and heard one I hadn't heard in many years. Airport by the motors, as you say full bung and singing like a linty.
