Kenny is the 3rd choice striker and while Ajeti is here, we aren't bringing in another one.

 

Away in Dingwall on Deadline night will it be quiet get one or two more in before then

 

Deadline is 1st mate due to football being on the 31st

 

Still very much in need of a DM. With two games a week, we can't rely on Calmac alone, who is basically playing out of his natural position as it is. Really hope to see a player in by the end of the window.

 

Hope the ange takes a satellite phone with him then, the reception is pish up there lol

Unless we get an outstanding candidate becoming available, think Mooy is the answer we had to that after we didn’t get Souza.

I feel like he was the man we really wanted along with securing CCV and Jota.

McCarthy leaves we get michut

I would put Lennon’s Hooper, Ledley, Izzy, Kayal season above this season

Last season as a whole I would have as the best, if we’re including January window too.

 

Not really caring about project striker but think the other two are a necessity

 

Don’t think we need another striker just now, if we get Haksabanovic in then a physical centre mid we’d be looking strong as * in every position.

Kenny could well be the project striker depending on how he does in the B team and imagine a loan in 2nd half of the season.

 

Mmaee to replace ajeti
Michut to replace McCarthy

 

Would be over the moon with this but I doubt Michut will be here now. Can definitely see Mmaee if ajeti goes another versatile player like ange is looking for perfect cover at right wing and up top. If a jullien or McCarthy go can see another mid coming in tho hopefully too and would be an unreal window if all that's fell into place

 

I actually think the opposite, The fact Michut hasn’t gone anywhere yet may give us a chance to get him on a loan to buy, where as they were looking for a sale. He seems pretty versatile as a CM.

I don’t think Mmae will be here. I would love a physical CM but not sure we will get one.

On outgoings I am hopeful that we sell Julien and McCarthy (not bothered about fees) but getting them out. Ajeti a loan to buy is probably the best we can hope for.

Johnston and some of the young guys to go on loan.

I hope the above can happen and those out on loan already impress enough to get a permanent.

When you look at the list:

Turnover will be over 100 million but how much of that will go to maintaining wages, expenses, running costs etc

 

A lot depends on the details of the add ons from last year. We had £10.5m up for grabs from Ajer, Edouard and Christie deals of which I think we will have landed a lot of this.

When you take that into consideration even buying Jota and CCV along with all the players last year then we spent in the region of £35m, including January business of Maeda, Hatate, Ideguchi and O’Riley (can’t believe we got them all for £5m).

We brought in approx £31m (after taking off cuts due to other clubs from sell ons), without the add ons so potentially up to £41.5m with them.

This summer we have paid between £2.75m - £3.75m depending on whether you believe Argentinian or Scottish Media for Bernabei. We probably paid a loan fee for Jenz but likely received a few loan fees ourselves so would imagine pretty neutral. Mooy and Siegrist were free agents.

If it’s true we are only paying £1.7m for Haskabanovic, then if all the add ons have been met which I am pretty confident a lot of them have then we actually still have a small surplus in transfer dealings during Ange’s tenure.

That also doesn’t take into account we have a lot of players who could be sold for simplicity say around £1m out on loan just now like Orhoghide, Barkas, Hazard, Soro, Scales, possibly Julien and Johnston.

That is all before you consider the CL turns an around £10m loss on Operations to a £14mish profit with conservative estimates.

Further if we sold any of Abada, Juranovic, ORiley, Hatate, Kyogo, Giakoumakis, CCV, Jota, Turnbull or Maeda we would get a considerable fee for them.
