Bradley would be a yes, but I imagine he will move on after the World Cup.

    Campbell-Ryce and Howard? No thanks.

Think james Mcarthur, paul dixon, anthony stokes, mark reynolds would all be usefull players board might stretch the purse strings to sign, were not going to sign quality players from abroad so might aswell get good spl players. lionel messi would be a good addition to:party22:

8 goals in 31 league games but that's by the by. The figures that matter are those when he was in the SPL...

    07-08 32 games 13 goals
    06-07 31 games 6 goals

Nowhere near enough for a Celtic striker, we have enough strikers that are 'good at running the channels' or 'holding the ball up'. We need a 30 goal a season striker.

Humberto Suazo is some player but he is finally getting noticed and is on loan at Zaragoza so I think a big club will snap him up

got to agree there. Robbie Savage is one of the most pitiful players I've seen. Not only is he a dirty average footballer he is one of the worst diving, over-acting cheats av seen. he is an embaressment to himself

well its good to see that we've got the mindset that cost is still an issue. after ross county i hope our owners now see what they have to do. if they dont sell big and buy big.....expect a season similar to this one.

west ham may be relegated by seasons end.
scholes may want another season in the sun before retiring.
o'shea may fancy it given the celtic connection......dont agree with your valuation at five to six mill tho. 2mill
diamond would walk barefoot over broken glass to get to kerrydale street.
fletchers team will be relegated by seasons end.....championship or boyhood heroes....mmmmm
gomis would fancy the step up without a doubt.
with sales and a decent budget we could maybe generate 20 mill.
    brown...4-5 mill
    boruc....5-6 mill
    mcgeady...5-6 mill
    samaras.....1/2 mill
    fortune.....2 - 3 mill
    wilson....1/2 mill
    o'dea...1/2 mill
    loovens...1 - 2 mill

pAYBACK surely does not come any sweeter than this.

A year ago John O’Shea and Rio Ferdinand sat among the thousands of Manchester United fans at Anfield, as Liverpool sent them crashing out of the FA Cup.
The United stars had to suffer as bags of abuse ? along with other far more unsavoury things ? were poured on them.
So what better way to stick the proverbial two up at the Kop than banging in the last-minute winner which put one hand on the Premiership trophy?
If there was one, O’Shea ? a boyhood Liverpool fan and dumped by the club as a youngster ? could not think of it.
The Irishman is actually the only man to score for the Merseysiders in a league game against United during Rafa Benitez’s reign.
That one, however, was in his own net, during a 2-1 win for Alex Ferguson’s men getting on for two years ago.
Saturday’s was a totally different story.
Not the hardest goal he will ever get, banging in the rebound from a yard after Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick crashed back off Pepe Reina.
But in terms of importance ? well, it does not come any bigger than this. Especially with United down to 10 men, courtesy of Paul Scholes’ red card five minutes earlier.
O’Shea admitted: “The 90th minute at Anfield, in front of the Kop . . . Gary Neville’s just told me that is his dream and I’ve just gone and done it!

when I line up for Burnley on the opening day of the season, I will look heavenwards, say a wee prayer and say, 'This one's for you, Dad'.
"My family will be there and I am sure we will all be emotional.
"It is just such a great feeling to land a deal with a Premiership club."
Heroes A lifelong Liverpool fan, Fletcher admits he can't wait to take on the Reds at Anfield, a ground he has visited often as a supporter.
Fletcher insists the reality of being a top-flight player will hit home when he also faces the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
He said:"I supported Liverpool as a kid and I used to go and watch them.
"I can't believe I will be playing against my boyhood heroes. It makes a refreshing change from going to Anfield as a spectator and getting the stadium tour as a starry-eyed boy.

Id get big Orlando Engelaar in. He signed for PSV last season but has only played in bout 15games for them. Hes a * unit and the type of player we need in midfield. I think he would be attainable as well.
