Who’s the goat in your eyes then? Ronaldo will become the greatest goal scorer ever haha so surely as a striker that should be your idol?

What as a striker? Which is what the hooijdonk lad is, so surely his “goat” would be a striker

It is worth noting that NAC Breda play in the Eerste Divisie, the tier below the Eredivisie.

Larsson has 12 goals and 5 assists in 24 games in the Russian top flight this season.

I have no idea how much he would cost, but the sales from Larsson #7 jerseys would cover it, I am sure. :giggle1:

    Being linked with Dortmund.

Think we've missed the boat, unfortunately.

If he’s good enough surely his dad will be advising and touting him about. PVH played for some decent teams, you would hope he would regard us a good team for him to progress from his time here.

Sydney there looks like a prime target for a youth pick, full stats from transfermarkt has him with 62 goals from 119 games (that's youth and full team stuff) at a value of 450k.

If he's going out of contract then it's a low risk venture I'd hazard a guess at wages in the 4 figure mark 4-7k would be a good offer given where he is he's probably on (but 7k is only good enough for the homeless so may struggle) only source I can find is stats from FM that say it's like £900 a week but I would not use that as a reliable source. Could be complicated by Brexit stuff but * knows with that. Nottingham Forrest were apparently looking at him as well

If we signed him in the summer Brexit won’t be an issue, as there is an agreement that the new rules won’t kick in until the winter window. He would be worth a punt given the volume of players we need and he seems to have some talent.

Junior Stanislas (Misspelt I think?) is also becoming a free agent. Could see Cook King and him coming in if Howe does come, Cook helps Welsh and Hjelde become better defenders Junior is a player Howe trusts hence his move to Bournemouth and he could be Howe’s Sinclair.

Someone a few weeks back on this thread suggested Reiss Nelson, and I think he could be excellent for us. Plays either wing, is a decent finisher, and seems to work hard.

2 appearances for Arsenal this season. Given the good loan spell he had with Hoffenheim a couple of years ago, where he was being compared to Sancho, he has to be upset at not getting more game time since.

A loan, possibly with an option, could be a great deal for us.

Problem with Stanislas is that he's already 31 but has had a decent season in the championship, I doubt you'd see a sinclair kind of impact with him but again, as am experienced option to bring in wouldn't be the worst idea but I'd rather we get some pace, we have been so lacking that this season.

Cook could be a decent shout but at the same time, could be a Duffy (less Inclined I would say though given Bournemouth played more attacking football than Brighton) fits as an experienced head to come into the defense and I think would be a good pick

I don't doubt he'd do alright, but I'd like better, he's 31 right now and is no speedster plus I think he'd struggle with the number of games, typically he's played low 20 games a season this season he's done 33 league and a cup game but has had his best return for a few years with 10 goals and 5 assists (plus his premier league return would have beek skewed somewhat as he was at a traditionally weaker side) sportrac has him in 35k a week so would likely be coming in as a top earner at the club

Pros, he is versatile and could play any of the attacking mid/winger positions, he will bring a strong level of experience. Not I e if be unhappy with but not one I'd be ecstatic about, would probably give us a decent couple of years

What’s the opinion on Nesbitt as a squad player? Seems to have a decent return this season.

We will need to sign about 8 first team players before we can think about squad players
