We definitely still need a LB, CB and winger at a bare minimum.

I would prob take mc clean for lwb but he would get tortured.

 

Wouldn’t want McClean. He’s so limited technically and would command fairly big wages.

 

He just got voted their poty so not even worthwhile debating.

I don't know, I kind of like the idea of him at LWB. Big, strong, pretty quick, isn't afraid to put in a challenge. Not great technically but neither is our current LB but McClean is superior physically

 

I love the thought of McLean taking up residence with brown and Lennon inside the perpetually triggered heads of Huns everywhere ,especially this season the * would be frothing at the mouth.he's extremely hard working and would be great option anywhere in the left hand side.I can't see it but would be tremendous

He would be better at lwb than any of our current players and also better than the last player we got off stoke

And him lifting the title for the 10 will get the biggest cheer in celtic park in years

 

He's better than some give him credit for.

 

Would Ibrahim Sangare be out with our budget given Toulouse have been relegated and we have done business both ways with them over the last couple of seasons?

He only has a year left on his deal but there would probably be a lot go competition to sign him.

He looks like he would add a lot to our midfield particular if others were to move on and Julien could put in a good word for us. He would also have huge resale value.

Another alternative would be Kouadio Kone who is younger at 19 but in a similar position having been relegated and only a year left on his deal.

 

Also seen the name Omar Colley being linked with us this morning CB from Sampdoria. Not sure how reliable that is as he seems to be a regular in their side.

 

Where are you seeing that? Personally I can’t see this one happening.

He’s a good player and offers a lot of what we need (left footed centre back, physically imposing, strong in the air and the challenge), but he cost Sampdoria over £7m two years ago and has played the vast majority of their games since. At 27 and with a decent outlay, he’s doesn’t really fit our signing policy.
