    Jiracet, a bit like Paddy McCourt, who I loved as a player, unfortunately
    our managers didn't and he was here for five years and rarely played .
    Not what we want . Too many of this list has proved themselves duds
    before and I prefer players to come with some sign of form behind them .

    We can do a lot better than him. Didn't do anything this year that made him stand out and was part of a terrible Vasco side that got relegated.

    Another of the pre-mature superstars.

    There are better players kicking about Brazil right now - Walter, Marcelo, Lins, Dinei etc etc

    I love that wee Jiracek. Warrior of a player who would work tirelessly for us, would be some addition IMO. A player I've wanted here ever since the Euros.

    It's interesting you mention his fitness as whenever I have seen him he has been terrier-like, almost like Scott Brown but pushed further up the park? I think he'd be ideal for Europe, a worker but has the ability to produce a goal or chance from somewhere.
