Traffic ligh cam

I went through a red light camera tonight I actually done it twice just wondering what happens is it a fine I take it or something more, cheers

I feared this once before, turns out it wasn't a camera light and just a sensor thing

Nowt ever happened either way (sensor or camera).
You sure it's a camera?

I'd assume same rules apply as being caught in the moment.
3 points and (I think) £100 fine.
Just pray they don't do you twice

That flash will put the fear in to me for sure.

Not much good news, but if you're certain to have seen that flash and it was on you, looks like you'll get the notice mate.

Honestly, fingers crossed for you bud. I know that fear very well.
I'm actually a few days away from the two year mark and being able to relax a smidge with the whole thing.

Looking at the map of the cameras it says the second one I went through isnt a camera, on the map the green dot is were the flash was nothing is there

They * road works down clydebank way it was mobbed really busy * in and out of lanes plus I'm reliant on my sat nav which never warned me, I thought I was through but a flash appeared, I'm raging more at myself

It'll definitely be 3 points and a fine, if you've been caught.

 

I'm trying to find out * that flashing was hoping it was another car but pretty sure it's a camera, on the map it doesnt show any of the red light cams on my route couple of speed cameras but I was under the limit is there another way to check were the red light cameras things are so I can stop worrying, oh and if it is a red light camera that flashed me how long will it be to I know

2 weeks mate, was it late amber u went through? Alot of cameras dont have film in them but still produce a flash, fingers crossed.

 

If it comes to it do u not have someone else on your insurance that can take the points for you?

 

No point worrying about it now. If you've been caught, you've been caught. If you haven't, then happy days.

I got caught on Edinburgh Road a few years back. I was too busy keeping an eye on a guy who kept breaking ahead of me for no reason and then just sped up again. The lights were just turning amber as I was coming up to the lights so I sped up a bit but got flashed by the camera. Anyway, thought I had got away with it but ended up getting 3pts and a £60 fine

 

Ive been through on late amber, just turned red on a couple mate and never been done, maybe it was just a reflection of someones lights youve seen.
