Very shortly after he came on and we all started singing Tony Watt, I was thinking this is an 18 year old, boyhood Tim, playing to get us into the Champions League.

    How would you feel?

I've also noticed he doesn't play with his back to goal like Hooper does. Seems to be looking to peel off defenders and get on the end of threw balls. Something we have not had in the team for a long time.

I think he is going to add a whole new dimension to the team and give us another option in attack.

Only other 18yr olds that have excited me this much have been Forrest who is on the verge of greatness and Maloney who I still get pangs of sadness thinking about him in the prem instead of with us. (and McGeouch of course)

He is confident and he is exciting.

Hopefully he is unleashed in the coming weeks.

    Totally. :50:

Tony Watt will make a far bigger difference to Celtic than Alessandro del Piero would.

I know what you mean, but I hope it's not a major factor - maturity in a young player's only a temporary advantage.

As they say in boxing, it's skills that pays the bills...

Tony Watt must be on top of the world. What I would give to be that guy right now.

The more of him we see shortly the better, he is looking very promising.

This lad has a great chance of making the grade. Good pace, balance, technique and physical strength. Great bit of business signing him from Airdrie.

Genuinely very excited with this guy. Has a lot of excellent attributes - looking forward to seeing more of him this season should the opportunity arise (which I reckon it will.)

Lennon seems perfectly willing to give the young guys a chance, and it is paying off. Fantastic to see.

How good was that bit of skill on the touch line when he came on? Bhoy was unlucky last night and had chances. Genuinely think this lad can make it.
