    This boy @\o/

    16 year old from Volendam..

Was supposedly at Ross Hall doing his medical. Pretty bizzare lie if they've plucked some unheard of kid out of nowhere..

Its a grand old team to play for
I'd give him a start no problem, then maybe try David Hays grandson Vincent angelini. Leagues gone, may as well see what our youngsters can do

Have no idea about this guy, but the greatest keeper in Celtic history, Charlie Shaw, was only 5'6... which is 1.67m.

Celtic Academy goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi has signed a two-year contracted extension that will see him remain at the club until at least the summer of 2024.

The promising young stopper joined the Hoops in February 2019 from Tottenham Hotspur’s Academy and has steadily developed in the Celtic Academy while playing for the Reserves.

His performances earned him a contract extension, and the 18-year-old was delighted to commit his future to Celtic as he continued his upward trajectory.

“I played well last season and that led the club to offer me a new deal,” said Oluwayemi. “The pathway and vision seemed right for me so I’m really happy.

'It’s a good feeling and it gives me more time to focus on doing what I need to do on the pitch and trying to progress on the pitch.'

“I’d love to eventually break into the first-team squad and be competing and playing at the highest level I possibly can. All you can ask for as a chance and seeing Conor Hazard getting chances to play is great. I’m younger than him so I’ll push and try to get a chance in the future as well.”

Oluwayemi has worked with Celtic goalkeeping coaches Colin Meldrum and Stevie Woods since joining the club, and he was full of praise for how the pair have helped him develop his skillset.

“I’ve developed a lot since I first came here,” said the young English keeper. “It’s been a good experience and the staff have all helped me to mature and become a better player on and off the pitch.

“Colin Meldrum and Stevie Woods have been very good with me. I worked under Stevie Woods last season for a bit and it’s always a good experience moving up and training with him. They both have their own styles and they’re both great coaches who I really respect.”

The Celtic Colts will play in the Lowland League this coming season, and Oluwayemi said playing competitive football was an exciting opportunity which he and his team-mates would reap the rewards from.

“It’s good to get into competitive fixtures against teams in a league. It gives more of an edge to games and it’s more enjoyable.

“This summer has been good. I’ve been training and resting my body to get ready for this season. I’m confident I’ll get plenty of playing time this season with the Reserves so I’m really looking forward to it.”
