As someone said recently 'The best on the planet'
It lets the players know that every Celtic fan are behind them this season from the very first kick of the ball to the last

 

That’s them £30 past the target well done everyone

I know it will look great, and that I'm probably alone in this, but * me I can't help but think there are so many better causes that 20 grand could be put towards instead of a tifo.

 

As football fans who nonchalantly discuss signing players for millions of pounds, or who discuss stadium redevelopments for millions and actively encourage both, I don't think we can complain at some crowdfunding by ordinary people for a display.

 

That 20 grand should've been donated to the HWCF, the help World Champion fund.

 

It's their money and they know what it's going to be put towards, so I don't have an issue from that side of things, it's just the thought that £20k is going to be used for something that will last a few minutes that just feels like a complete waste to me. I had no idea these things cost anything like that kind of money before this, so it's been a bit of an eye opener.

I just logged in to reply to this after some browsing and tbh I dislike doing this to other Celtic supporters but ffs you need your head seen to. Celtic supporters coming up with something fantastic to make our stadium look amazing and you come off with this *! I could picture you doing the shopping with the misses haha. She wouldn't be allowed to buy anything nice lol. Lupus, give your head a shake please! Of course there's better things for 20k to be spent on but ffs, give the lads some credit for doing this and leave ridiculous posts like this to yourself. Money is there to be spent on all sorts of weird and wonderful things and this is one of them. Can't wait to see it!

With many people currently struggling to pay the bills or feed their families you are * right there are better ways £20k can be spent. So I will continue to post what I think, regardless of whether you consider it is ridiculous or not. Cheers.

 

There is no denying that the 20k could be used for better causes especially with the world as it is now, but I donated to this Tifo so I could show my support to the the team and Celtic as a whole for the joy it brings me, but I also donate to other charities my misses sign us up to between GOSH and NSPCC etc.

and just think of the joy it will bring thousands of Celtic fans across the world when it’s displayed, I hope it brings a smile to you and everyone’s face when they unfurl it on flag day.

 

The GB do more than enough for good causes, don't see anything wrong with this if people can spare a few quid
