Conor hazard, Welsh maybe one of Coffey/ Robertson and certainly Luca connell. Think you have to consider Christie an out and out attacking mid now, I'd put him in the bracket with rogic and Henderson. If rogic came into his own this season and attracted a decent fee id be inclined to sell especially if we get Turnbull and you have Christie Henderson and Turnbull all options at attacking mid..

We have a shed load of games coming up between now and Jan window, so there will be, hopefully, a few players that will step up, so that should determine what we go after.
Right now, looks like we need cover for Eddy. Ideal scenario is for Bayo to come good. Otherwise we will have to go get in a striker, will be difficult to attract a decent goal machine to play second fiddle to Eddy.
Starting to look as if it could be end of the line for Griff, cant seem to get himself fit, but again, he has it in him, a proven goal machine and may come back with a bang in the next few months but I still get the feeling, that he just cannot get to the previous level, where we all loved him.

Whilst agree with most of your selections, the surgery won’t be anywhere near as severe over two windows...more like 4..

I’m hopefully we can get FF on a permanent, now he’s willing to take a pay cut and would give Bitton a new deal..

There’s a few in there who may still come could or return to form too.

A goalkeeper, holding midfielder, winger and striker are essential:
    • Bain will be our only senior goalkeeper under contract come summer.
    • Brown is our only senior holding midfielder, and he will be 35 years old this summer
    • Johnston will be our only senior left winger under contract come summer.
    • Édouard will likely leave this summer; Bayo is still unproven; Griffiths' Celtic career may be over
Those positions should be addressed in January.

I think that another box-to-box midfielder is more or less essential too.

The two centre-halves and the attacking midfielder may be unnecessary if young players are ready to step up to the first team.

Goalkeeper needs addressing but I guess it will all hinge on getting FF in full time.
Right now we have 4 international keepers on the books plus Doohan.
If we do get FF, punt Gordon in Jan.

Other than another ‘ready to go’ striker ... I’d love to see Wanyama back for at least rest of the season... and a guarantee that Forster will be here for next season.

    I'm hopeful on FF..

We will be back in for Turnbull..

We have Forrest, Johnston, Shved, Dembele, Hayes and even Frimpong who can play further on the wing on both sides...Elyoynoussi on loan until the end of the season we definitely don't need to strengthen there in Jan..

ST & DM are essential tho.

Guess there is a case to punt this group:
    Gordon
    Bauer
    Ralston
    Šimunović
    Hendry
    Bitton
    Kouassi
    Morgan
    Hayes
    Sinclair
    Miller
    Arzani
    Griffiths
Bring in a proven striker and Benko.

We could wait until the summer to bring in a goalkeeper and winger, particularly if Forster and Elyounoussi are available. Forster may even be available in January.

Hopefully see a few players such as Kouassi and Moragn go out on loan.

Need to get rid of Hendry, Miller and Ralston permanently.

DM & ST are top, top priorities as already pointed out. Brown's successor needs to be brought in and arguably we need 2x strikers if the board are going to listen to bids for Eddy in the summer.

    In January I'd like

Centre Back (Jordy de Wijs, Hull City, * First Left Sided Centre Back I could think off)

Midfielder ( Feel David Turnbull is most likely going to be signed although i feel we need a proper Broony replacement instead if Kouassi isn't it. Maybe Luca Connell can fill that role eventually.)

Winger ( Didier Lamkel Ze, Antwerp, Tall scores goals could be good back up to Mikey unless we wait til summer and promote Oko-Flex and Dembele* Believe Dembele's future maybe at Attacking Midfield)

Striker ( added reason for Lamkel Ze as he can also cover here if Eddy leaves next summer can do much worse than having a choice of Bayo, Leigh, Lamkel Ze and Afolabi maybe Atchison.)

In the summer I would look at
    Goalkeeper (Forster long term)
    Central Midfeild/ Attacking Midfielder

    And promote youths

Could end up looking like this

    GK
    Forster
    Bain
    Hazard

    RB
    Elhamed
    Frimpong

    CB
    Julien
    Ajer
    Left Sided CB
    O'Connor

    LB
    Boli
    Taylor
    Hayes

    DM
    Broony
    Bitton
    McInroy
    New Destroyer.

    CM
    McGregor
Turnbull (Could be a waste of Money)
    Connell

    AM
    Christie
    Henderson
    Dembele

    RW
    Forrest
    Shved

    LW
    Johnston
    Lamkel Ze
    Oko-Flex

    ST
    Bayo
    Griffiths (New Signing)
    Afolabi
    Atchison

Plus whatever we sign on loan all new signings above should be permanent. I feel it would be better to loan a Striker giving the success rate isnt great, and guaranteed goalscorers aren't easy to come by.

I'd be amazed if we don't bring a striker in in January..

Afolabi is gonna get a big chance over the next few week's though and I reckon he can do a turn..

Whilst Ed is here he's our no. 1, hopefully Griff will get back to form, not sure about Bayo now.

Youngsters Afolabi and Aitchison maybe in the near future but I'd make a bid for Cosgrove, £2-2.5m, proven up here now, handful and scores some lovely goals for a big guy. If Aberdeen start their * then fine, but I wouldn't mind us going for him.

Think we need a CB in January.

An injury to Ajer or Jullien in the next few weeks and we’ll have Bitton starting and Hendry on the bench.

Ajer, Jullien, Bitton, Jozo, Elhamed, Hendry.

Problem with big Cosgrove in my eyes is he takes ages to settle... Took him a while before he started to bang them in for Aberdeen
