Players apologising to the fans of the team they used to play for after scoring against them, celebrate or don't celebrate but * the whole putting your hands up and looking distraught that you just scored a goal.

I'm not sure. I thought at first it was signalling an in-swinger (CalMac usually does it before an in-swinger), then I thought it was to indicate head-height. Now I'm just not sure.

Asking his team mates who wants it. A standard signal at all levels of football.

It’s usually to signal the type of corner, ie front post or back post. Celtic seem to have three signals - one hand, two hands and no hands and from what I can tell, they all mean hit the first defender.

Players that just sit on their * for ages after being tackled cleanly because they didn’t get a foul instead of getting on with the game, Samaras used to do it every game.

Players sticking up one of their arms and suddenly stop running after the attacker when calling for an offside.

Two or three players standing at the ball when taking a free kick trying to confuse the opponents. The * who places down the ball nearly always going to take it.

Signal where they’re putting it, off the training ground things, 2 arms up for something, right for another, left for a different one etc
