The second hunger strike started a few months after I was born. I think it was October they started in 1980. Obviously I can't remember it being so young although my ma always told me about bringing me up to the H-blocks just after I was born during the blanket protest to visit my cousin. Wether this was straight away or during the hunger strike I don't know but she always says about help sneaking the old coms(msgs written on cigarette paper and wrapped in clingfilm) out in my nappy. I think the screws/Brits wherent allowed to open up a babys nappy during a visit although I'm not 100% on this about them not allowed to open a nappy up because it wouldn't surprise me if they did. Horrible vile * them screws where so it definitely wouldn't surprise me if they did.

Celtic played on the day I was born beating a team in the cup winners cup 6-0. Frank mcgarvey scored in this game. I remember my da always telling me this although I still have to Google to find out the teams name.

I remember that day. Great sunny day it was. 14 or 15 I was. My da was finding it very difficult to get tickets for us and only managed to pull one in the airdre end. So he decided to bring me up to Hampden to see if we could pull another. Couldn't get one anywhere and what did the * do, he left me outside on my own and went on in to the airdre end hahaha. Make sure you don't tell your ma about this he said going in lol.

I tried nearly every gate in that stadium to sneak in. Even bumped into some I knew from Ardoyne who got thrown out of the airdre end after we scored although they managed to get in the Celtic end with there airdre end tickets. I still couldn't get in and as luck would have it. This jammy * found a ticket stub outside the Celtic end behind the net haha. Wasn't long after we scored I got in. One of the best memories being in there after us winning that because we hadn't won a trophy in years.

Walked it back to rutherglen on my own and met up with my da at the pub one of his mates was running there. He was happy as * I got in as was I as you can imagine.

Great memories! Loved that top when it came out. Still have mine here.

Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep was No1 the day I was born!

Other than than that the only momentous thing that happened was my entrance onto this planet to wreck havoc and ruin an endless procession of people’s lives that actually loved me!
