Monday’s WWE RAW, featuring Seth Rollins vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in the main event, drew 2.663 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 2.903 million viewers for post-Money In the Bank episode, which was the best RAW viewership since late April.

For this week’s show, the first hour drew 2.597 million viewers (last week’s hour 1 – 3.001 million), the second hour drew 2.679 million viewers (last week’s hour 2 – 2.975 million) and the final hour drew 2.714 million viewers (last week’s hour 3 – 2.734 million).



This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring Daniel Bryan vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champion Harper in the main event, drew 2.135 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 2.315 million viewers for the post-Money In the Bank episode and a new low for 2018. This is also the lowest SmackDown viewership since the Halloween 2017 episode, which drew 2.119 million viewers. The last non-holiday SmackDown episode to do this bad was the June 13th, 2017 episode, which drew 2.072 million viewers.

Wrestling Standard has learned that WWE is getting ready for Daniel Bryan’s potential departure, by booking him in matches and storylines that were originally planned for the rest of the year.
Daniel Bryan has wrestled AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, and more recently, has reunited with Kane – his former tag-team partner in ‘Team * No’ – as WWE is viewing Bryan’s run as a ‘farewell tour’. The matches just listed would have been his feuds moving forward towards the end of the year, however, because the company still don’t know if he will sign, they want to make the most out of having him under contract.

According to our sources, the current plan for Extreme Rules is for The Miz to prevent ‘Team * No’ from becoming SmackDown Tag-Team Champions, leading to a match between the two – Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz – at SummerSlam. In which, The Miz is expected to be victorious. Additionally, there have been loose talks of Bryan defeating The Miz at SummerSlam, if Bryan was to sign a contract extension, and carrying on their feud with a final match at * In A Cell.

Wrestling Standard understands that Bryan has recently hired the same agency as John Cena, who deal with his contract negotiations. Which, according to our sources, is one of the main reasons Bryan is still yet to sign; the ‘Yes Man’ want’s the best deal possible.

Monday’s WWE RAW, featuring Kevin Owens vs. Braun Strowman in the main event, drew 2.707 million viewers. This is up from last week’s 2.663 million viewers.

For this week’s show, the first hour drew 2.641 million viewers (last week’s hour 1 – 2.597 million), the second hour drew 2.822 million viewers (last week’s hour 2 – 2.679 million) and the final hour drew 2.658 million viewers (last week’s hour 3 – 2.714 million).


This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring Team * No vs. The Usos in the main event, drew 2.013 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 2.135 million viewers and a new low for 2018. This is also the second least-watched show since the blue brand moved to Tuesday nights, barely beating the 1.921 million viewers from Election Night on November 8th, 2016.

Regarding SmackDown airing the night before the 4th of July holiday this week, the show aired on the actual 4th of July holiday in 2017 and drew 2.329 million viewers.
