I've put near a thousand hours into this game, concluded after my first playthrough it was the best game i've ever played. The storytelling, characters, gameplay, soundtrack and sheer scope of the world is mesmerizing. The main story was legendary enough, but they come out with two superb DLCs for a modest £20, when other AAA companies charge £40 odd for mediocre expansions.

Gaunter O'Dimm is one of the greatest characters i've encountered :56:so well written.

I wish I could wipe my memory of this game and start it fresh again. Best open world game I've played.

I bought it when it was released and had never heard of it or seen any game play. Was surprised at how great it was.

I loved this game then had to try and kill some thing, a blotchling or something like that. It killed me about 25 times so I've never played it again. I really need to get back into it as it's fantastic!!

That botchling quest was an absolute *. Took me ages to figure out what to do.

Finally defeating the blotchling, on my first go after not playing it for 3 months because of the little *!

Weird thing is, it didn't even attack me. The Baron just carried it home with me calming it down every now and again.

I'm getting my teeth into this game now. It's absolutely massive!! I'm still in Velen, trying to do as many side quests as I can before moving on with the main mission.

I seem to die loads though at the moment, I'm playing it too much like it's Skyrim when fighting and just trying to smash my way through enemies. It's alot more strategic though and I find dodging and counters work loads better. Loving it though, just wish I'd started playing it earlier. :50:

I need to get back to this. I wasn't a fan of the combat or controls but I feel all combat systems have been ruined for me by the 'souls series because of how well it works.

I miss it. Think I'll start a new save at some point. Incredible game.

The CEO of CD Projekt Red said this a couple of weeks ago...

“It’s too early to talk about it, but it’s not like we’re forgetting about this brand,” he said on Polish TV station TVN24 BiS. “It wouldn’t be fair towards the fans. We work within this universe for over a dozen years now and I don’t think it’s going to be the end of it.”

Although I might change my mind when RDR2 comes out, this is easily the best PS4 game I've ever played.

Still put RDR as my fav, but this was probably 2nd in my all time favs.
