I was almost 16 1/2 stone this time last year and I aimed to run a 10k last summer - which I did. Dropped to just over 14 stones by training for this, going to the gym every other day, and cutting out junk food. Since October and the weather has worsened I am back up to 15 stones, so starting January I am aiming to get down to 14 again which I think is my natural healthy weight.

wee bit of maths here. you get home at 6 and have 3/4 hours to do what you want, it sounds as if you go to bed at 10ish. thats a 10 hour sleep every night. you could easily get up an hour earlier and go for a run. or push the boat out and join a gym. or if you need your beauty sleep then do something during your lunch break. saying "i dont have enough time" is just a * excuse.

I stopped the ciggies in march put on about 35 pounds (in weight)
feel much better( for not smoking) but gotta lose some weight.

Trouble is i'm not young anymore & most of the weight has been
magnetised round my gut:39::43: don't know how that happens.

I never in my life carried weight before, in fact i was a bit
like a greek * bodywise for a number of dreams:86:

I'm currently eating half a grapefruit in the morning and half before bed.

Wholemeal toast and poached egg for breakfast
Low fat wrap and salad for lunch
    Chicken and pasta for dinner

    No snacking, no fizzy drinks

The grapefruit kickstarts your digestive system, digesting and burning food quicker (read it in the missus girly mags lol)

Seems to be working. Certainly feel a lot better.

Same as me lol im right on the edge. 18.5 i am. I have been on a fat cut though as im going for my 6-pack abs, and before anyone says abs don't look great on a normal/skinny guy frankly i couldn't give a *. I gave muscle building a go and it just didn't work at all.

I personally play sports, i play football and i play tennis. Both pretty intensive sports. I do that a couple of times a week along with 2 weight sessions a week. I think im getting there.

I realise this is the opposite to losing weight the way the OP mentioned but im trying to lose 2/3% body fat.
