I never managed to see as much of the Magic Weekend as I would have hoped. Watched the Leeds game on Saturday, and then the Saints game last night also. Sometimes, you have to hold your hands up and say that you lost to the better team, and both Leeds and Saints are in that boat.

That is twice now this season that Leeds have lost to second string teams. Wigan were hammered with injuries, but the Rhinos were never at the races. It's the poorest I've seen them all season. The only good thing to come out of the weekend was that they stayed top, after Saints were battered yesterday by Warrington. That is the Wolves best performance by a distance.

Looking like Bradford will need to win their appeal against the 6 point deduction to have any hope of staying up now St. Pauli. Hope they do, it would make things interesting at the bottom, especially if they beat Wakefield on Sunday.

Keeps you in with a chance of staying up.

Any news on the points deduction appeal mate?

Would put the Bulls level on points with Wakey should it get reversed.

Should find out in the next few days whether the appeal is successful, hopefully it gets overturned. It would make the bottom of the table more exciting.

I didn't see the game last night. Got in the house at half time, and when I seen the score, I didn't bother with the second half. Rhinos game tonight, I will be watching that though. I'm planning on going down to Wembley if they make the Final. Fancy taking in a game, so might as well make it a big one. They have hit a bit of brick wall in recent weeks though. They got smashed by Wigan at the Magic, and then again last Friday by an improving Warrington side. Need to get back on track tonight.

Cas started really well here (despite being treated pretty harshly by the officials)

Didn't see much of yesterday's game, but the games on Friday & Saturday were superb viewing. I was getting a bit worried for Leeds at one point, and the scoreline probably flattered the Rhinos in the end I would say.

The Wigan v Cas game was fantastic, one of the best games I've seen this season. How they managed to withstand the pressure Wigan put on them in the second half I'll never know. Not only that, but they managed to come up with 2 tries of their own in the second 40mins. The first of those two was an absolute cracker.

Bad result for Northern today. Especially with Wakey winning yesterday.
