Hard to put a value on players in this market nowadays mate.

I supposed if pish like Grealish is £100m then Leeds are giving Chelsea a fair deal.

Yeah. You see that and Man Utd are paying €65m for Frenkie De Jong. Phillips is what? €53m? Crazy EPL prices

Cracking signing for them to be fair. Especially on a free contract. Be interesting to see where he fits in that midfield. Play slightly further back? With Fernandes in front?

    Eriksen-----De Jong

    ------Fernandes-------

Would be a good signing that.

Their midfield has needed an overhaul as far back as Fergie’s last few years when he had to call Paul Scholes out of retirement.

De Jong, Eriksen and Bruno would be a very strong trio, probably only 2nd best in the league to KDB, Bernardo and Rodri.

Still need a RB, CB, LB and winger on top of those two though imo.

Malacia LB and Lisandro Martinez CB looking close apparently.

    Maybe Antony for the wing.

How good of a signing is Eriksen now for Man Utd.

He was involved in 11 games for Brentford last season.

Is he able to double that to be useful for Man Utd? I'm not so sure.

He only joined Brentford late February and only missed one game from his debut onwards - whilst playing 90 mins basically every game.

Back playing for his country and played the full 90 the other month when they beat France.

I would bet he’ll double the 11 at the very least and more likely to treble it.

    Fair play that.

Not sure myself if he is really going to offer much to Man Utd...but I guess in fairness to him, I think that's based more on the overall wreck of that club more than anything.

Even with Ten Haag in, I just don't seem improving on what Ole and Rangnick left.

I just don't see them changing everything about how that club is run to give Ten Haag the means to pull off there, what he did with Ajax. Man Utd just seem more commercial then football results driven.

I was of the same thinking until a few days ago but they seem to be be getting the finger out now that Ronaldo’s basically said he’s unhappy with their business.

Eriksen, Malacia and Lisandro Martinez (one of Ten-Haag’s Ajax boys) looking likely and I think they’ll get Frenkie de Jong and probably Antony.

    de Gea
    ??? - Varane - Martinez - Malacia
    de Jong - Eriksen
    Antony - Bruno - Sancho
    Ronaldo

That’s a decent XI tbh, but will probably need another few windows to add more depth to really challenge the top 2/3.

Erik Botheim apparently joining Salernitana in Serie A.

What a weird move, they finished 4th bottom last season, surely he could be doing much, much better?

Milan in talks for Ziyech and De Ketelaere.

They two with Leao would be some attacking 3 behind the striker.

It's not like he's really proven though, he's only had 1 decent season in his career with the rest not even average but *. No caps either, so whoever is buying him could end up with a dud.

Probably only even got that move to Italy because he got 3 goals and 3 assists against Roma in Europe.

Ziyech should never have moved to England, guys a genius, who is really not suited to the Premiership. Chelsea hoped it would be like a Mahrez, but guys like that have learned how to make the best of the talent in that league. Ziyech was 27, was never going to get the most out of him, just moments of genius.

If Milan get them though, I’ll be delighted, always really liked them. I want to see them get back up to a level that club should be at. Ibra’s signing again, which is bigger for the squad than he’d be on the pitch, he played a part this year but he demands so much from those around. Sometimes demands that so he doesn’t need to work as much as well tbf but his attitude was big for them winning the league this year.

Lukaku going back to Inter as well, be interesting to see what’s going to be happening in that league. Dybala linked to Inter as well.

Dybala was linked to * Marseille or something a couple of days ago. Think the Inter boss basically said they had enough forward options. I honestly can't believe someone like Man Utd or Arsenal aren't going for him. Man Utd need goals and creative players, that's exactly what he is and he's free.
