Seen they were linked with Rafael Leao as an Mbappe alternative as well. After watching him setting up Milan’s three goals at the weekend you can see why that might be the case.

 

That's an excellent signing. Feel like Real Madrid are going to dominate La Liga for years to come, even with them missing Mbappe.

Leao would be some signing for them too, been excellent for Milan this season and he's the sort of player that would thrive in Madrid's system.

 

Tchouameni is unreal, Real going from Kroos Modric and Casemiro straight into Camavinga Valverde and Tchouameni would be mental. Really hope he doesn’t join Liverpool…


Leao is incredible man. It’s weird seeing someone that size dribbling like he does. Have to think he’ll go for stupid money. Especially now they know Mbappe has turned Real down.

Him and Theo Hernandez have been frightening down the left for AC this season. Be interesting to see him off the right if he went there as I doubt they’d move Vinicius.

Ac Milan in general have a ridiculous squad currently. Tomori, Hernandez, Leao, Tonali, Kessie, Maignan

They literally sold Donnarumma and replaced him with a far better keeper in Maignan, it's unreal.

They are losing Kessie to Barcelona, which is a blow, and potentially losing Leao, but I think there's a chance they'll be the dominant team in Italy again for years to come.

 

Their recruitment has been unreal recently. They got Luis Campos’ prodigy Geoffrey Moncada to basically change their recruitment and make it similar to Dortmund and Ajax focusing on younger and cheaper players. Likes of Kalulu on a free is mental man.

They’ve hired some ‘data nerds’ off Twitter as well while teams like Juve and now Roma with Mourinho seem stuck in the dark ages with recruitment.

They’ll probably lose a good few over the next couple of years but have to think it won’t have to much of an impact with their record recently and now more finances.

 

Really want to see how far they can take this squad or how they can replace whoever they are going to lose and how they get on in Europe etc. Wasn't so long ago they were struggling to finish in the EL places and losing as often as they won.

 

Leverkusen’s recruitment the last couple of years has been quality.

 

£11m for a goalie who has never played for City, what the actual * are England playing at.

Scottish teams need to start ripping the * out fees.

 

Bazunu for anything like £11m will probably be a bargain in the long term.

Amount of young talent they’ll have is mental.

 

I know Man Utd would never have a chance of competing with Liverpool for a player right now but they should have signed that boy weeks ago. He was heavy linked with United. Excellent talent.

 

To be fair, he's Ireland's number 1 at 20 years old. Also got Portsmouth's POTY and PPOTY last season.

Think £11m is actually very reasonable given the usual fees down south.

Absolutely agree. I was reading United fans comments on Darwin a couple of weeks ago and they were basically saying that he was below United's standard. Could not help but laugh. Darwin is arguably the fastest and strongest player I ever seen in Portugal, can score goals and is always pressing the opponent.

Perfect player for Klopp's system. Would be a waste in this United, where promising careers go to die.

United did something similar with Rúben Dias. Heavily linked but no offer. City came up, paid the cash and got the player (currently one the best center backs in the world).

 

So potentially a front 3 next season of Diaz, Nunez and Salah.

24/25 year old right winger in next and their front 3 is sorted for the foreseeable.
