Why’s Juventus been allowed to take Locatelli on a two year loan with an options to buy for £35m. What do Sassuolo get out that.

I read it’s a compulsory buy, so they’re guaranteed £35M. Juve are probably trying to balance their books whilst paying Ronaldo a fortune.

    * for Sassuolo, you’d be wanting that money in now to replace him and invest back into the team.

Italian teams do it a lot mate.

Kessie, Chiesa etc. Locatelli even when he went from Milan to Sassuolo.

Be good to see him at Man City, hes wasted at Juventus now, they're dire to watch and he doesn't really fit in there. Chiesa, Dybala, Morata and Cuadrado would probably play better as a front 4 without Ronaldo than they do with him. They'd have a bit more energy and fluidity about them as he's never really clicked with Dybala or Morata who probably don't like playing with him and Chiesa and Cuadrado more need to supply him than play their own game.

At Man City their other players are a level or two above Juventus at passing and their creativity and ball retention is enough to have Ronaldo as a spare man just hanging around the box to bury things.

Would also be great to see him and Messi coming up against each other at City and PSG in the CL.

    Hope it happens.

It would be absolutely honking if he went to City. Thought he had a bit of self respect about him. You don’t become club legend somewhere then join your City rivals.

Schmeichel done it and is still viewed as a Man Utd Legend which baffles me. Its a non existent derby that one.

Ronaldo strongly linked to United now. City never even officially made an offer and aren’t interested now. Wow.

Man City doing the classic "I never fancied you anyway ya fat cow" after receiving a knock back.

It would’ve been criminal for him to go to City. Would he cool to see him back at United.
