Just tell us your favourite train Stations, your favourite Train journeys, latest Train journeys and Train Station Visits etc etc Oh and do you go to work on the Train? etc etc etc.
I think my favourite train Station is Kingussie in the Cairgorm National Park, its small and neat and tidy with a glorious back ground and whenever i arrive there i am very happy and content.
Come to think of it one of my 2 sisters used to live in the Old Station Masters House on Ashley Train Station in Cheshire,i stayed over quite a few times,it was amazing how quickly you got used to the trains going past all hours.

Can't beat York station for the old school feel with that massive wide gap between the main platforms. Can just imagine the steam rising to the rafters back in the day.

Hate Edinburgh Waverley. Hate every train station in London, with the exception of Wimbledon.

I've been looking for a thread on train stations, so it looks like we're on the right track!!!!

Not sure about how the stations look but for scenery Fort William - Mallaig is stunning.

Best thing about York station is that they don't charge for a *!

My old man used to go on about Mallaig to Kyle of Lochalsh train, think he had a video of the journey from the driver's cab. Some scenery!

Having been to many stations around Europe I have to see the cleanest and coolest one was the BErlin Hauptbanhoff, it looks like a shopping mall and is very slick with its glass windows and stuff, I love travelling by train!

All the stations on Sydney's North Shore line are very picturesque.
