    The Greatness Of both these players is the fact that Nadal has to stay at this level to win this match. If he did drop his level slightly then his great rival could still win here.

    What is it that suits him? I know heehaw about Tennis really but its a mental record going to be 13 wins from 15 goes at the tournament. Is it the slowest surface to run on and for the ball to bounce?

    It's much more physically demanding than playing on a hard court or grass. You need to be ultra fit and have a lot of upper body strength, both of which Nadal has in spades. Most importantly though is the ball bounces a good bit higher if you put spin on it. The amount of topspin Nadal generates on his forehand is far in excess of any of the other top players. He can get the ball to bounce up above shoulder height which makes it extremely hard for the other player to do anything with. He especially used to kill Federer with that one shot. Federer has a one handed backhand and Nadal would hit his forehand to that side, it would bounce up above shoulder height and Federer could do nothing with it.

    Been a disappointing final in truth. I thought Nadal would win but I thought it would be a good deal closer than this. Rafa has been a machine though and way too good. Question is, when will it end? Be a brave man that would bet against him doing it again next year.
