This thread is 3-1 in favour of Ronny staying. The happy bus thread is 3-2 in favour of Ronny. Hopefully this points to fans now realising that no matter how much of a nice guy he is, he's out of his depth

We were awful the second leg no doubt but we should have won the tie in the first 30 minutes. I think everyone agrees we showed we were a better team then, we just didn't finish them off. Over there we just stopped playing altogether, it was very strange but hard to lay the blame on just the manager when his players don't show up at all. There is no way the guy responsible for the Ronny Roar isn't capable of motivation, I'm sure he can command the dressing room. It seems unfair people focusing on that one game. We played our best in 2012 to reach the last 16 but when we exited the UCL playing AC Milan 2013 we got destroyed 3 0 and it felt like the team didn't show up or try that night. They scored a corner with Kaka smoking a * on our six yard line too. People doubted Lenny as well then and he was already successful. We have good and bad nights, Inter was good, Malmo was bad. 2012 was dreamland. 2013 we fell back to earth. We have to accept by now the board doesn't speculate because of high risk. Even Man City can't buy a guaranteed last 16 place. The board have created a sustainable model, now they have asked Ronny to create a sustainable system for the squad. The only risk with Ronny is not doing well in Europe. But that will always be a risk for Celtic. The pay off could be the synergy we need to worry any team who comes here.

I'm just asking about the first part though, it was the part you described as outstanding, was it not?

    Just cant get enough
Just a waste of time PR exercise. We all know he can talk the talk. Time to start producing a team that can win big games.

Not defensively weak at all? Or another big game mistake by Gordon not collecting it at the front post?

Does the goals being conceded not concern you? Or our inability to change anything about it?

Who wouldn't be defensively weaker by losing a player like Denayer though ?

And yes i see the problem with Gordon but we are not going to get a better keeper than him at this point, infact i think we are lucky to have him.

The worry for me isnt goals conceded because i am confident it will get sorted with the signings we have made.

My only worry is i see a lack of cohesion between the players and that we should be gelling faster than we are.

    Serious?

Boyata scares me, the rest I haven't seen much of, none of us have so I don't think any of us are in a position to give such a glowing endorsement.

Ummm...so two threads show that the majority of Celtic fans want Ronny to stay and you point this out as him factually being out of his depth?

Not the brightest * thing to say is it?

Any team that has a manager competent enough to change his style of play to compensate for lack of personnel. That's who.

Well Janko ive seen and i can say the kid is class.
Jozo is a 21yr old Cb that has plenty of CL experience.
Blacket played 10 games last year for ManUtds first team so he cant be that bad.
Boyata is a decent enough defender that just needs more game time.

Also if i remember correctly Denayer and Vvd took until our 10th league game to properly gel.

I've never felt so uninspired going into a European Match. I'm now thinking the League is more important. Going to be a long season with Ronnie and Collins struggling away.
