    And I'd be over the moon. If the striker is a guy like Mmaee who can play wide even better. Think that's what we need so that they can get more game time as unsure who would be interested in being 3rd choice. Need flexibility.

    Not entirely convinced we will sign a Rogic replacement. Someone like Mmaee who can play anywhere up front looks like he could slot in there at times when Turnbull and O’Riley are resting.

    In an ideal world I'd like to sign him and Vinicius but perhaps being greedy. Need to think about how to keep these guys happy.

    Vinicius Souza is the one I want. We’ve got enough midfielders to handle domestically, but we don’t have that defensive beast who can screen the back 4 in Europe. If we get that Argentinian LB, then it’s even more important to have Souza.

    How refreshing would it be though? I can’t remember a time Celtic fans have had so much faith in the club and the board. They get them all in and I can see Nicholson getting cheered by all the fans when he’s introduced on flag day and * rightfully so.

    Maybe should be in the controversial Post but I personally feel that Lawwell had to play devils advocate to allow Nicholson to be in this position. Albeit the job he's doing so far is refreshing to see and hope it continues, as Ange can do something special here, the buzz around the club right now is sevenfold on what we've had the last few years.

    If Jota & Souza (or similar come in) I think we're ready for pre-season. A further attacking player will surely come in (either at attacking mid or as a forward) but I think that one can wait till later in the window and more players become available.

    Give Julien a pre-season, if he impresses we don't need another centre back, if he doesn't then we can bring one in.

    It's inevitable we'll get someone on loan on deadline day too

    We need a left footed CB.

    We don't have one currently. Really think that someone who can stride out Ajer esque should be the target.

    Personally I'd loan Welsh out but I don't think he will.

    Guy on KDS called Moch who they all seem to trust says three in by Friday is the aim. Make of that what you will. I'll reserve judgement til our own @McGrory1888 says it is so.

    Three in this week was the word on Monday mate, but Siegrist, Jota and Bernabei would tick those off.

    There’s apparently been positive developments elsewhere, but I’d be (pleasantly) surprised if anything else is announced before the weekend.

    CCV, Jota, Bernabei, Siegrist all sorted before pre season.

    I’m expecting a definite answer one way or the other on Vini Souza within the next few days and if it’s a no then we move on and get someone else in before pre season kicks off.

    Been quiet on the CB front but we definitely need better cover for Starfelt and CCV, so hopefully that’ll come at some point soon as well.

    Delighted we’re finally planning ahead now, no more going in to pre season with gaps in the squad and having to play players out of position etc.
