I think Monaghan is right in saying that I'd be screaming for it, if it was at the other end. Watching it at full speed, first time, it does look like a foul by Erik. It's only the reverse angle and being able to see where his leg goes and that he was already going down, that makes me think it's not a foul by Erik.

Quite an ambiguous one for me.

Thanks. There's no way Erik fouls him, but I am surprised it wasn't givenas it looked like a foul from the other angle and viewed first time.

He's on his way down before there is contact. Or as they rub elbows.

Have they not changed the last man rule ? If it's a penalty then no red ? Or was that just discussed.

One of the few moments I caught from today's game. Not a foul, nearly smashed my IPad at half time listening to that tadger Craigan telling us it was a clear penalty and sending off.

Inverness player initiates the contact not Sviatchenko. If we're calling that type of instance a foul. Then by the same reckoning, running straight into your opponent should also be a foul.

Haven't seen the rest of the game but a very good bit of officiating.

Just becuase a player plays for a Foul doesn't mean when it happens it isn't a foul and thats quite clearly a foul

That was a classic Judo throw, he swings his right leg back knowing Erik will clatter into him. Im surprised he didn't grab his shirtfront to pull him over his leg.

He actually steps sideways to ensure he brings him down.

A diver with form for exactly this.

    Simulation

I really can't see this, the guy puts his body between Erik and the ball and Sviatchenko charges through the back of him. Just because that guy put himself in thenposition between the ball and Sviatchenko doesn't mean that it's legal to run through the back of him like he isn't there.

If that happened in the middle of the park the ref would have given a foul- think it was a pen and a red card in this day and age

At the end of the day it was a great challenge. At least he's willing to take the risk.

What is happening now is teams are playing for the peanlty, but they are also trying to get us down to ten men as there best chance at getting something from the game.

We saw it against Sevco last week and it's here again yesterday. Guys got a chance to shoot, if he tries to hit it the ref gives a penalty, instead he's waited for the contact.

Brave decision from the ref, but on this occasion it's one player going for the ball and another trying to initiate the contact. 50/50.

Watch the striker's left foot, he's trying to get a player sent off so deserves nothing.

If it happened at the opposite end of the pitch we would have wanted the foul awarded , think some need to remove the green tinted specs tbh.

If it's a penalty it's not down to ten men. That's the rules,.

If it's a free kick we're down to ten.

If he wants to hit the shot, that left foot gets planted on the ground, instead he's off the toe intentionally giving himself no balance. A dive all day long, but with contact so if it was given we couldn't really argue against it.

    A red card though?

Overall it's bound to happen to us some time over the season. You win some you lose some.
