The Jets are absolute *. Could be looking at the third ever 0-16 team here.

Has anyone ever seen Joe Flacco and Shane Duffy in the same room?

It's pretty demoralising, I'm struggling to watch obviously.

100% clear we are tanking now, as a soccer fan, it's a bizarre concept and I hate it but it's a necessity. There is a fire sale at the Metlife, we are listening to any and every offer for EVERY player except Becton. I actually have faith in Joe Douglas. He is creating cap room and building for a hopeful future. Also giving decent players a chance at leaving and having a less * season, pretty kind of him :56: As soon as we mathematically have first pick, Gase is gone imo. Hallelujah. I'm looking at the long game now. I know we have heard "rebuilding" before, but with JD I think it is different.

It's gonna be a brutal watch from here on in, I will probs just watch Endzone now instead of our games.

Do you give up on Darnold though? Or do you exchange that number 1 pick for multiple high picks and rebuild around him?

Personally I would like him to stay, I like him. There is also the risk that Lawrence ends up with the same problems.

I can see why some people want a clean break and a brand new Re-build. Darnold's confidence surely must be shot. Becton is a fantastic signing and if he protection like that on both sides, who knows.

    In 2 minds tbh

Does the league do anything about teams that intentionally tank?

The 76ers took it to the extreme in the NBA a few years ago to the point the league indirectly fired the GM and rule changes were brought in.

I read about it and the NFL doesn't want to admit that teams would intentionally lose, that's why there's no draft lottery like there is in the NHL.

Makes sense. No much point watching the end zone when the Jets are playing. :56:

Intentionally going 0-16 makes sense in theory but in practice I’m not too sure. The Dolphins were tanking last year but instead of laying down they put a few wins together and carried that momentum into this season.

Tanking is something that is often talked about these days but I have been watching this sport for around thirty years and only once I have a watched a team and thought they were definitely at it. That was the Indianapolis Colts when they wanted to move on from Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck was due to come out of college. I think it's something the media like to talk about more than it ever actually happens. I personally wish the media would shut the * about tanking and stop trying to make it become a thing. The sport is * if teams start just throwing games a quarter of the way into the season.

Elliott with his 3rd and 4th fumbles of the season hand the Cardinals a 21-3 HT lead.

Tough watch for the Cowboys tonight.

Wasn’t expecting a win from them but expected a big night for either Dalton or Elliott.

    Both looked like amateurs.

Ezekiel Elliot is a very up and down kind of character, going by that All or Nothing series.
