    I'm not picky.
Just as it says in the title - what are the most controversial/violent/goriest movies you have ever seen?

I could list a good few goriest, but I think the most controversial film I have ever seen has got to be Cannibal Holocaust. By today's standard it's maybe not that gory, but the subject matter and the whole combination of the various scenes of rape, violence, gore and brutal animal killings definitely make it a notorious movie.

The director, Ruggero Deodato, was actually being charged with murder in Italy (although charges were dropped in court) after premier of the film in Milan because authorities truely believed that he had filmed people being killed! One scene that led the authorities to believe that was this one -

He had to actually track down the four lead actors so they could come to court to prove they weren't dead, and the same with the "cannibal" girl in the above picture. She had to demonstrate how she managed to do what she did.

    What are other people's picks?

Yeh I remember this one myself. Brutal violence, *, rape, and excessive drug consumption which all involve minors.

Was actually surprised that the BBFC let it pass with so few cuts to be honest.

Faces of Death, they were popular in the early 80's........but fair the biggest waste of time ever. If you haven't seen any of them count yourself as lucky.

Yea I like that movie. The main character's mate, Casper, was in Next Friday as well but has since committed suicide.

A Serbian Film is * up, pretty brutal rape scenes in I Spit On Your Grave, the original.....there was a proper * up one I've seen with a girl who gets horribly tortured by this woman, can't remember what it's called.

Don't really mind gore or violence so any films with rape would be the most controversial for me.

Kids was a pretty controversial film when it came out, underage * was the main focal point which is always going to ruffle feathers. It's a decent film though I think.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is the most disturbing film i've seen i'd say, creepy as * and pretty graphic. Someone's actually uploaded the full thing on youtube by the looks of it. Man Bites Dog.

Some say the scenes are too real. The rape scene was borderline questionable and the opening scene.
