That Depeche Mode when we score!!
In the last 20 minutes or so a Chinook has been flying low over my house and local area about 7 times,a loud aircraft to say the least and pretty cool. From time to time the odd Typhoon or 2 fly over my housing estate and Hawk Jets are regular.
In nearby Snowdonia i have seen plenty of Military Aircraft over the years while hiking such as Thunderbolts,F-15 Eagles and Tornadoes. Also when i am up in the Cairngorm National Park i have had cracking views of Typhoons, infact back in June when i was leaving Aviemore a cool Typhoon flew right over the Town as i approached the Train Station.
As i finish this that Chinook has just flown over for the 8th time, anyway what sightings do you see?

See the helicopters out all the time.
But more likely to see armoured cars and tanks and guns.:50:

Was doing a job up near the flight museum yesterday, saw the Vulcan just sat there, incredible machine and ever better seeing it in flight.

Regularly have hawks out training round my way, Air show in my town next weekend, so will see all the usual typhoons out hopefully a few f-16s.

Used to see a lot of RAF Sea kings out training when they did SAR work.

Been to a couple of aircraft museums (one next to Inverness Airport and one next to RAF Kinloss), quite cool getting inside some of the aircraft.
