I'm nearly 2 hours in and loving it so far, everything you'd expect from Scorcese but it's got a different feel from his previous mob movies - in a good way.

The de-ageing thing they've used is a wee bit dodgy but that aside it's been excellent.

Great movie as you would expect but the ageing thing didn’t really work for me.
Could still have been a great movie if they had given younger actors a chance.

Loved it, De Niro, Pacino and Pesci just brilliant. Another classic from Scorsese.
Goodfellas still top of the list for me though.

Small parts of the movie are De Niro in the war as a young man. The majority of the movie (that I have watched so far) is them (De Niro, Pesci, Pacino) younger than they are in real life

Some form of CGI has basically shown them in various stages of their lives over decades, hence the de aging process.

It actually works ok visually. Some of their physical movements don't look right though.

Minor criticism. The movie is epic and I still have about 90 minutes to go

Lost a bit of interest watching it. Far too long and lacking the punch of most of Scorscese's films, imo, but hey ho. Glad it's getting rave reviews.

Did anyone else notice it shows up under less than 3 and a half hours on Netflix? Film itself has a 3hr running time, despite claims I read prior.

Started it again last night but fell asleep about an hour and a half in, will probably finish it tonight or tomorrow. Some people are complaining that it was too long but I don’t know why you would want it to end, it’s absolutely brilliant.

Type of film that needs to be watched more than once to be fully appreciated I think.

Genuine masterclass in movie-making! The de-ageing CGI was a little distracting at times, but the technology is where it is, so any criticism in that regard is a wee bit nitpicking.

Can't see past DeNiro for the Best Actor Oscar (criminal that he only has one Best and one Supporting award). But who to pick for the Best Supporting Actor? Pesci and Pacino are equally outstanding (and I'm not normally a big Pacino fan as I feel he often 'over' acts).

Will they give Scorsese the Best Director statue? I'm not sure - the Academy has * him over so many times that I think they have a problem with him. He's the Celtic FC of Film Directors!

9.5/10 (it loses the half mark cos I wanted more Keitel!).

Found it hard to believe 3 old guys, legends or not are half their age through the full film.

Wanted to like it but I was giving it credit on sentimental value tbh.
