Stephen Ward is an example of the problems we face as a team. * footballer and what's he doing airing this in public environment? :87:

Walters' time is up, too. Arter isn't a big miss, either. He'll be 29 in a couple of months and not one for the future.

Clean slate for everyone needed. No surprise Roy's temper coming to bear on lads for their commitment, but it's hard to imagine it being as bad as Ward has claimed.

Just seen the North beat Spain 2-1 away from home at u21’s level while the Republic lost 6-0 at home to Germany.

How are NI looking in better shape than ROI? Can’t the Republic take any player eligible for NI or have the rules changed? Is it scouting potential players or just simply coaching?

Be interesting to see if there’s big differences between the FA’s structures on developing players.

Roy Keane at the centre of another fall out - that's a shock, said no-one ever :giggle1:

Read Conor Hazard saved a penalty for NI too.

If he keeps that up he'll be boo'd around Windsor Park in no time

    Just cant get enough
Just a nasty * Keane. Seems to really struggle to get on with anybody.
Having said that, this should never have been made public. Arguments like this must go on in every football team almost every day and it’s generally accepted that they stay behind closed doors. * is ward playing at?

Have ROI even tried getting him to switch?

No idea tbh. All the sound bites would suggest that he's happy with NI. Remember seeing him talk about what an honour it was to make his senior debut against Costa Rica back in June.

He was big into his GAA before going across the water too

Also, I'm pretty sure the Irish U21 keeper is at Man Utd and is very highly rated

Kieran O'Hara on loan at Maccelsfield right now I think. There is a young lad Kelleher at Liverpool right now who is well though of for Ireland too.

Keane’s problem these days is the hard man act really doesn’t wash.

In his pomp he could run about a football park and bark and snarl all day long. These days any number of people would take his jaw off for acting like he does towards them off the park.

    Good.

We shouldn't be hanging around waiting for him. Only pity is MON didn't tell him to * off before the last internationals. Other * like him will no know they can string us along while they wait and see can they get a call up for England.
