Our midfield and pace going forward is too much for their midfield which is hilariously inferior and a garbage slow defence..

Remember this season when their centre halves were better than ours? Lol..

At the moment the only reason we won't win this is if we don't turn up. Play at anywhere near what we can, at a decent tempo and they will "fold like a pack of cards". If any team neutralises Morelos they have no goal threat, where we have goals all over the pitch. Mcgregor and Morelos are the only reasons they have as many points as they do.

I fully expect us to go into the winter break with a 4 point lead and a game in hand.

Not sure what team i'd pick.

Ntcham has always played well against the huns and I think his technical bullying style actually demoralises them, when he holds them off, turns them and just treats them like schoolboys levels below him. So i'd want him playing but i'd also want Brown, McGregor and Christie playing. I'd also prefer McGregor in midfield rather than left-back.

Wee bit dangerous though defensively on the left as Benkovic is maybe not the quickest to do the wide centre-back role and he wouldn't have much protection. Boyata is usually fine there and normally would be but he was out 3 weeks or that with a hamstring injury so not fully fit and maybe a little worried to run at full speed if he had to.

Reckon Tierney will make it. He's supposed to be back in full training mode tomorrow. That gives him a couple of days to see how he holds up.

 

Right, * it, I've joined the club. Start Bain in goal and get Craig Gordon as far to * away from our starting XI as possible. Don't want Brown starting this one either, he's clearly off the pace at the minute and he's never been a great footballer in terms of passing range and ability, now he's not even having much of an impact off the ball. Thought Boyata looked ropey today with the ball at his feet but that's to be expected after being out for a while, he still looked solid defensively.

In general I'm not overly confident going in to this, still think if Gordon, Brown, Rogic and Boyata are similar to today we could be in trouble but if we turn up and are at them from the first whistle it could also be really comfortable. It's maybe the first time in a few years I've seen a lot of people from both sides not looking forward to it as much as usual.

 

This is a huge one for them! The pressure is on. Beating us and they will be ‘flying’ and high on hope. We have a lot more of quality but away from home we seem not to turn up as often. So we need to start getting a run. We know that we can always pick up pace when needed. But for them? Losing or a draw and thats practically it!

I think it will be a hard game, 0-1. Early goal by us. Their fans frustrating at their lack of skill to have a go at us. A few nasty challenges on Brown.

Cant wait to see those lesser smart people cry on their ways home on Saturday. All the hope they had all season shattered, like 10 kicks in the balls

 

Looked like BR was asking Stevie Woods * Gordon was doing the day, hopefully Bain starts until we pick up real quality in the summer..

 

If they press us, the size and quality pitch really suits us, if they sit off we will break them down eventually..

 

If we score first, it'll be up to us how many we score.
