Ooh Obaf mate, this is why you may not achieve greatness you don't pay attention to the finer detail - I did say jam piece not toast ... :bye1:

Chin up mate a trillion miles isn't much really when compared to infinity so you'll be fine :50:

I really don't think it is debatable at all. There is zero consensus amongst mathematicians the world over for centuries that the planet's don't move in the way we think they do.

Flat earth posed way more questions than a round earth. Why is it flat when the moon and sun are round? Why do we have season's? Why do we even have a day and night? Why do the nights shorten in winter?

Our current model explains all of those questions. A flat earth explains none.

Not to mention you need to discount gravity as a thing if theres a flat earth.

Some are actually spending way too long disproving this pish, it's like they are having to convince themselves tbh :fear: :giggle1:

100% of empirical evidence through the scientific method displays a geocentric stationary earth. Its only got questions until you look for answers...

The seasons are explained almost the same as heliocentric model...the suns path takes it closer/farther... instead of being 90million miles away its the same size as the Moon, as it appears to be, and not 400 times larger with both being a lot closer...they say it just looks comparative size because it's exactly the right distance to make it appear that way.

The earth is round, we have a 360 degree horizon but there is zero curvature betwewn us and the horizon and zero curvature along the horizon... endo-dummy-horizon-lol.jpg cropped-img_81686.jpeg

We have day and night as the sun and moon follow their path over us just like hands over the face of a clock...https://goo.gl/images/QdgW94

If Acadamics started speaking they can be stripped of their title, employment lose their degrees etc have their reputation ruined.

Also we are deconstructing deeply held beliefs, people take pride in their kbowledge etc no-one likes to say they were wrong, fooled, mistaken etc and if you based ypur lifes work on something and you discovered for a fact you were duped after spending decades in a field of study etc

Double-Think comes into play too, whereby ypu hold two or more contradictory beliefs and are able to switch between them as and when needed which is how we avert Cognitive Dissonance and so avoid conflict within ourselves. We are all guilty of that at some point.

The heliocentric model has had its problems since the begimning, its been tweeked for centuries. But it is jist model.

Gravity is just a theory and no even considered a Law for decades.

On one hand ypu are told its mass etc on another its space time continuum that causes it, on another its electromagnetics.

Im not even put to convince anyone and I dont have all the answers, my only objective was to show people that its not as * up as they think it os and it is based on science through empirical evidence.

@Brido1888 , mate, does a flat earth mean what I, as a round earther, think is the Antarctic, is actually a ring of ice around a disc shaped Earth?

So if I walked out my door now, and, hypothetically, headed south and didn’t veer off course, I’d reach the edge of the Earth eventually?

Thats what a lot them believe but I steer clear of that because unless we find $40,000 each we arent goin there or north pole...
However its because of the historical documentary evidence they believe that. The ice wall is there its not disputed just like seeing white cliffs of dover but runs as far as you cam see, and its been documented that I tjink it was Cook, who said he travelled 60,000 miles round trying to find an inlet. But the flip side is that on the globe if you go South from any point you should hit antarctica just as north you'll eventually get to north pole.

It was disproved a very long time and everything since merely confirms it.

You do seem a nice bloke so here is an update for you -

    You won't convince anyone.
It's obvious you don't have the answers.
It is as * up as it sounds.
    It's based on myth.

    Think that's about it tbh.

We think we are aware of time but we are not, time is what the man sai it is , we have an illusion of time so the man can keep us tied to the millstone and think we are living in time
