Aye, i thought it would be something like that.(too lazy to read it all)

I do still think they will maybe try and prevent Russia getting it though.

They got it through improper channels so I'd imagine so.

There's a lot more to it, all stemming from FIFA condensing Garcia's (an NY attorney) 300+page dossier into the awarding of the World Cups into 40 so pages and clearing themselves of any wrongdoing.

Turns out Garcia and his colleagues are fairly powerful people. There's a good article on CNN which untangles the web.

Despite Russia getting the World Cup through corruption at least it's held in a proper environment , unlike Qatar. It's too late to cancel Russia but hopefully they will cancel Qatar.

    Blatter has to go NOW!!!

We knew the South Africa, Qatar, Russia world cups were corrupt, but we have CONCACAF now involved. The whole system is completely rotten. Blatter has worked the corruption consistantly relying on the corrupt African and South American states. They are now taking massive bungs for television and corporate deals. The only way this will get settled is if we boycott the Qatar World Cup, the big nations bring in the sponsors. Set up our own tournament in Europe with European and any other teams that want to take a stand.

But seriously good news. The last head of the Brazilian football federation was one of those arrested. Hahahahaha bring that * piece of * down. He isn't the only piece of crap there, hopefully the start of a massive clear out and a few jail sentences to go too.

Not counting Russia as Europeans. It seems like it's only the European FAs playing by the rules at FIFA.

Not much will change though. some might have been arrested today, but it's unclear whether they will even be extradited to the US. Even if they will, it can take up lots, lots of time.

Besides, Blatter is untouchable. And he will never ever be extradited to the United States at all.
