    Thanks for signing up lads. For anyone new to this, the aim of the game is to take turns at picking players, to create the best football team possible. There will be 11 different categories and you have to pick 1 player from each category to make up your team. You can work your way through the categories in any order.

    The order of picking will be posted below and is a randomised list courtesy of random.org

    When your 11 is complete, go to sharemytactics.com and set your formation. Click submit when your team is ready, then copy and paste the third option on the submission page, into the ranking card thread.

    When you post your team in the ranking card thread, feel free to discuss what tactics etc your team would employ or state a bit about its pedigree. You can check the ranking card of the previous draft as an example. Here

    No discussion in the ranking card thread until after the results have been revealed, then feel free to discuss as much as you want. Until then, use this thread for all discussion. The reason for this is so it's quicker for people to look through the teams and cast their votes.

    Voting will be explained in the ranking card thread but you can look through the first draft thread for an example, as it'll be the same as last time.

    Order of picking

    For clarification, we start at the top of the list, work our way to the bottom and then work our way back up. So the person picking last gets two picks each time until their last pick. The person picking first gets two picks every time except for their first pick. Everyone else gets one pick each time.

    Categories
    1. Has won a World Cup or Champions League
    2. Has won a trophy with Celtic
    3. Is neither European or South American
    4. Has played in El Classico or Der Klassiker (Barca v R.Madrid or Bayern v Dortmund)
    5. Has won Copa Libertadores
    6. Has won a Player of the Year award (must provide evidence)
    7. Has scored a goal that is on YouTube (Must post YT video)
    8. Has been managed by either Fabio Capello or Mario Zagallo
    9. Is from the UK or Ireland
    10. Has won the UEFA Cup
    11. Has won at least 5 league titles. (Doesn't have to be 5 titles from the same league or club)

    When you pick your player, put in brackets the number of the category he is from too


    Finally, if you're going to be offline for a while, send me a PM with your picks in order of preference. Best to send me a list of 3 preferences for a particular category.​

    Giving Real-Barca the same prominence as a marketing ploy dreamed up three years ago for the CL final? I'm not having that. Bayern-Dortmund is a manufactured rivalry catering to foreign consumers, there's little enmity between the two.

    For clarification. Category 3, it's the country he represented that matters, not the country he was born in. So Marcel Desailly isn't available for cat 3, as an example.
