    Couldn’t agree more.

As soon as the restrictions are lifted, they will know all about it.

Even with stadiums still closed, there will be massive protests outside Parkhead at this rate.

Have throwing 10 away, love selling the merchandise but didn't change the manager when he was failing miserably..they are more to blame then lennon as poor as he's been.
    It's embarrassing

"Principal shareholder Dermot Desmond described Lennon as a "Celtic legend".

"He has given so much to the club, and with his success over the last number of years - including winning a treble in his own right - he will be very difficult to replace," Desmond continued."

    Very difficult to replace

Honestly, this guy is poison for our club. As long as this donkey is in control we won't progress. The max we'll get is a short term improvement like under Rodgers just to fall back to a Lenny.

As long as Desmond is in charge my fear is that this won't be the last we see of Lennon

Board have come of this looking really weak once again. Allowing him to ‘resign’ when he should have been sacked 5 months ago.

The sentimentality in the statement from Lawwell and Desmond goes beyond what is needed. A public thank you is seen as diplomatic and that’s fair enough but Lawwell stating ‘it’s a sad day for him’ suggests a lack of professionalism and that he values his personal friendship with Lennon more than the best interests of the club and supporters.

Desmond saying he would be hard to replace shows the measure of his footballing intelligence. It shouldn’t be hard to replace a man who has overseen the rapid regression that’s taken us from the dominant force to a laughing stock.

This rebuild we're about to start, can they hire a competent groundsman while they're at it? Pitch is a shambles.

Next season has to be the last for Desmond as well, even if we end up appointing someone like Benitez we need a complete overhaul.

the grass is always greener. We could end up with someone like a mike ashley.

the fans might not be happy with him atm, but ultimately Lawell was the CEO.

Id like to think that as long as Desmond owns us, the club will be financially secure.

Jack ross has done nowhere near enough to be deserving of a job like the Celtic one. His seat is hardly warm at Hibs yet.
He needs to get results in big games, where he has come up short for Hibs so far.

Really dont pay much attention to what the baord say , he was forced to resign rather than be sacked ! Board are never gonna come out and say hes sacked because hes * and his tactics are non existent! They are always going to say nice things ! He wont be back and thank * ! I think a good appointment will be here ! Ralk rangnick or martinez with maloney would be the dream but i think it will be howe ! We are linked with the ex bournmouth guy as DOF who worked with howe and i think thats the two that will come in ! Howe can bring his assistant now as he was also sacked so expect him to have his full backroom staff in place !

I see Rodgers has been asked about Celtic.

Sporting Director is crucial for the club.

Desmond won't go anywhere, he can't resign or be sacked because he doesn't hold that sort of position within the club. The only way he'll * off is if he sells his shares, which he won't do because he puts * all money into the club anyway and it doesn't cost him a penny to keep them.

I'll still not be renewing my season ticket even if they appoint Pep Guardiola.

Lennon was the puppet picking up the wages on the back of this boards sheer arrogance, disdain and disrespect to the fans.

They can all take a right good * to themselves, I'll need a bit of time to calm down and reassess before I invest another single brass * tack on this bunch of absolute scum.
