    It is a bit of a shame for the players affected, the situation over there has been a monumental * up in all aspects. Sounds harsh but there no point us getting involved if there's gonna be potential issues with the deal.

    TBH I can imagine Tete just waiting his contract out if it's true it bizarely ends on 31st December. He could essentially force Shaktar's hand by signing a pre-contract and they'd just take the money offered.

    Aye I suppose the fact there's only a few month left on his contract should by rights make it easier for some arrangement to be reached. Mibby clubs just want him for * all rather than paying even a small fee to release him from it. Which tbh would put me on Shakhtars side I think. Square them up ffs.

    Depends on how difficult Shaktar are being, I think most clubs would rather pay a few million than take an unfit player in January who hasn't played since May/June.

    This is such a bizarre story.

    Why is he so desperate to have his deal ripped up and why are they so instant that he's under contract

    His deal is up in 5 months. He can sign a pre contract without all this hassle and they would be lucky to get much more than couple of million for a player with 5 months left on his deal anyway
