    My word, I don't know what's worse, the hideous artwork on her shoulder or the blatant fake-tan line on her face.

    I loathe image obsessed cretins, if someone gets a subtle tattoo for cultural reasons then fair play, but people who get them to look 'cool' generally end up looking like numpties.

    They deserve it, too.

    The original badasses with tattoos did not get subtle tattoos though. And they still looked tough and cool. The original guys with tattoos were the British and American Sailors. And they were steel men, working 16 hour days out at sea, and drinking every pub dry and * every woman in town in every port.

    What I can't stand though is people who aren't sailors thesedays who are getting sailor tattoos. They've never been on a ship in their life, and they've got a clipper on their bicep. To me thats like someone who has never been on a Harley Davidson in their life who gets a biker tattoo. Its a fad over here in America and its completely stupid.
