    Hey Everybody,
As the title says, I'm thinking about getting a tattoo on the side of my neck, in the same place that Artur Boruc had.
(ill add a picture at the bottom for anyone that's never seen it)

I want some sort of writing but not sure on what to get as it has to be short to fit, plus I would rather the writing go horizontally and not vertically like Boruc's, or maybe a slight slope.

Anyone any idea what would be nice there. I am working on a few designs in Photoshop at the minute, might upload them later to get a few opinions.

    Thanks In Advance :icon_mrgreen:

By the way, I wasn't sure if this should be in Graphics or The Pub so i posted it here. Sorry if it's the wrong place Admins.

Neck tattoos are * vile IMO. Are you a prison inmate?

Each to their own I guess.

I don't mind tattoos but ould never get one on my neck tbh - imagine you didn't like it in 10 years time? You can't wear a scarf forever! I'd only get one that could be covered up if necessary. Remember that some jobs aren't impressed by visible tattoos as well.

I already have two huge lines of writing on the inside of my right arm between my wrist and elbow that is hard enough to cover up for a job.... but unfortunately you need to have a job first to cover it up for :56:

Wouldn't go for one on your neck....be very difficult to hide that if you get fed up with it or indeed if your employer needs tattoos to be covered.

that's my point mate - a lot of employers will be put off with people having visible tattoos when interviewing them! At least you can wear long-sleeve shirts or whatever, it's impossible to hide a neck one! Just saying, think it through and make sure you have absolutely no doubts about getting it:50:

I know there are lots of people on here that like them and good for them but I personally think they look horrendous, do not legislate for the fact trends change and you grow up as well.

Boruc looks as if he's wearing earphones from any sort of distance.

Job market is horrendous just now mate:54: I share your pain! Just bear in mind that there will be a day in the not so distant future in which you will be applying for jobs, and not at McDonalds, and they might be put off!

I don't have a problem with tattoos, but you'd have to be crazy to get one on your neck.

You will never get a job with anything like that, because whether you are or not you will look like a thug. Imagine going to a nice restaurant, or a wedding, or anything like that, for the rest of your life, with a tattoo on your neck. People will have made their mind up about you before you even meet them.

I'd say give it a miss personally.

Some valid points here about what people will think as soon as they see it.. I'll have to give that a wee bit more consideration, cheers.

BUT, one things for sure, my Photoshop skills are non-existent..!
