Slight exaggeration on his match time and fitness.
In the early days it was bad, not so much when he was at his best for us and regularly will see out 70+minutes if not a full match....when able to play.

Deal falls through and Rogic scores the goal that seals the 10. It's happening.

Hopefully that will give Tam the reality check he needs to get focussed and back to being a first team regular?

Isn't it injuries that keep him from 'regular first team football' ?
Thought this was all because he wanted to be closer to home...

Reality check for what? Don't blame him for wanting to play closer to home and get more game time, hasn't had a sniff under Lenny.

No one of Lennons favourites... Brutal that! Unplayable on his day!

Can't blame Lenny for this one..

Love Tam but he's never fit and takes ages to get up to speed. Plus his commitments for any Aussie gathering at the * end of the world..

When on song he's something else but we don't see that anymore..

Noticed that Aaronson boy scored again last night. The kinda replacement we should be looking at..

Genuine question: is that based on anything substantial that I missed or is it just the usual TC ability to read Lenny's mind?

Probably just the fact that he hasn’t given him a chance over two spells as manager, but he’s been one of the first names on the team sheet for the other two managers in between.

It could inspire Tam to step up a gear during training perhaps ?
The best way to make a move is to shine on the pitch , he is not one of Lenny favourites but if he is brilliant in training the hopefully Lenny will give him game time .

I doubt very much it’s got anything to do with him in training, more to do with his injury history and lack of match fitness.

Perhaps but we don’t know what happens in training or goes on behind closed doors.

    Mental analysis.

Lennon literally signed Rogic as a 20 year old and gave him game time a fortnight after signing and 7 or 8 games til the end of the season.

Lennon picked others at the beginning of the following season, then the arrival of Johansen pushed Tam further down the pecking order so he went out on loan for game time (bearing in mind he had at this point just turned 21). Lennon then left at the end of that season.

2nd time round when Lennon came in he was injured and when back from injury Lennon brought him on as a sub v the Huns and the game completely passed him by. We were effectively playing with 9 men, with Boyata having limped off.

He then gave him a start the following week in a 0-0 draw at Livingston that he did nothing and quite rightly dropped him from the team, given that we were going for Treble Treble and Lennon was auditioning for the permanent gig.

A few weeks later he then got injured again and missed the end of that season, pre-season and the start of the next season...returning in mid September when we were 6 from 6 in the league, having scored 21 goals.

Trying to portray that Lennon has a vendetta against Tam is nowhere near the truth. He was a young, inexperienced player in 12/13, 13/14 and he's been blighted with injury since Lennon returned.

He impressed Ronny and Rodgers enough to get started whenever fit, safe to say nothing wrong with his training.

There could be any number of reasons for that beyond Lenny not fancying him, though.
